"Thanks, Olivia," Ryder told her and put the food gently on Lilli's lap, along with her large Dr. Pepper. "I'll pay you back," he promised.

"You better." she mumbled, shaking her head and walking out. She wasn't much of a morning person otherwise she would have said hi to Lilli. Olivia honestly just wanted to go back to James.

"She's not a morning person," he told Lilli, smiling sheepishly.

Lilli nodded, smiling. "I didn't mean for you guys to go out of your way for me." she said, shaking her head.

"It's alright. Breedmates are all but royal to us Breed," he told her. "I'm glad I could help make you more comfortable. Well, Olivia," he amended.

She nodded. "So, she's a breed mate also?" she asked.

"Olivia is half angel and half breed. She found a male breedmate, and oddity, and I think they'll become mates one day.

"They already have." she said. "Didn't you see what she was wearing? I don't think that was a girls tee shirt."

He blinked. "I don't pay attention to what she's wearing. Never have. But if they did mate, I'm happy for them. My cousin deserves to be happy," he nodded.

She nodded. "I geuss."

"Are you still hungry," he asked, looking at the empty bag of food.

she chuckled and shook her head. "No, I dont think so."

"Let's get you into a bedroom. It'd be a lot more comfortable than the infirmary," he said, offering her his hand to help her down.

She nodded. "Alright." she said, taking his hand.

He found a room down the hall from his and opened the door for her. "We can spruce it up for you later, unless you'd rather stay in a darkhaven. In which case I'll transport you there myself."

"Whats a darkhaven?" she asked.

"A safe place for 'civilians' who belong to our world. We are warriors. the darkhavens don't get along with us. They think we're barbarians."

"Is it ok if i stay with you?" she asked.

He nodded. "You may do what you want," he told her gently. "I will protect you."

She nodded. "Yes, thats why I want to stay with you."

He blushed slightly. "We will go pick out your bedroom things tomorrow," he said.

She smiled and nodded. "You said that already." she said then blushed, looking down. "Would you mind sitting in there until I fall asleep?" she asked. "I know out of everyone you'd protect me. You have so far and you don't even know me."

He nodded. "I'll stay," he promised softly. "If you need me anytime after that, my room is the first down the hall to your right."

She nodded. "thank you."

He nodded and handed her some of his mother's clothes. "Take a shower if you wish. I'll wait," he told her gently.
