"We're going to a fair." she smiled. "Now hurry up, before it get's light out."

Ryder chuckled. "Alright. Come on, dude," Ryder helped James up and made sure he got to his room without getting lost before he went to go get ready.

Baily smiled, going to Damon. "Ryder has a new friend." she said, hugging her mate.

Damon smiled, hugging his love. "That's great. I'm glad to know James fits in well," he said cheerfully.

She nodded, smiling. "Hopefully he's the one for Olivia."

"From how well he gets along with Ryder, I'm almost 95% sure he is," he chuckled, knowing Ryder and Olivia went together like peanut butter and jelly, though they were raised together.

She nodded and frowned. "What do you think the rouges wanted with him?"

"I don't know... We'll find out," he promised.

"Do you think it's dangerous keeping him here?" she asked.

He shook his head. "No. He'll be safe here, with us," he said, confident.

"but what about us?" she asked.

"We'll be safe, too, love," he kissed her. "I won't let anything happen to you. Ever."

"I know." she said, smiling. "But it's not me I'm worried about. It's Olivia and Ryder. Olivia has all her hope in this man and Ryder thinks he's his friend. I just don't know what to think."

"I think Ryder will understand if those two take each other as mates," Damon told her gently. "He's a smart kid. Olivia is a sister or a cousin to him."

"That's not what I mean. What if the rouges let you take him? What if he's a plant?" she asked.

"You mean like a trap? Niko inspected his body. There's no tracking systems on him or anything..."

"What about physocological?" she asked.

"I don't know... Read his mind. If he thinks anything along the lines of digging our our location or our weaknesses and turning us over to his 'master', then he's a Minion. If not, then it's alright."

She sighed, nodding. "what if he is a minion?"

"Then we have to get rid of him, he said grimly.

She frowned. "Then he better not be a minion..."

"I don't think he is," he kissed her forehead. "Ryder would have noticed it by now."

She nodded. "I'm just... worried." she shrugged.

"I'm sure it's fine, love," he kissed her.

Ryder was ready and went to check on James, who was pulling on his shirt and opening the door. "So, where's this fair at," James asked.

"No idea. I just follow mom around," Ryder chuckled.

"As you should." Baily smiled at her son.

Olivia was next to her dad like she always was. Her dad had a very even feel about him most of the time and that made her own feelings even.
