she smiled and kissed him.

When he was ready with all his weapons, he kissed his mate again. Damon was ready, as well.

"Be careful..." Baily whispered, hugging her mate.

"I will. We'll be back with the breedmate," he promised his 'niece'.

Niko nodded in agreement, kissing his daugher and mate then leaving with Damon.

Baily sighed and sat down in a chair. "I hate when they leave..." she mumbled.

"They'll come back." Fairly said, sitting next to her friend.

Ryder stayed close to his mother, his father's protecting mood always made him nervous, though it rubbed off onto him easily. His mother was his dearest thing to him. Well, she would be until he found a mate.

The two warriors ran to the location of the hideout and broke in, killing the rogues silently as they made their way through to find the breedmate. He was out cold, chained to the wall in a cold room, completely naked. He looked starved and dehydrated, definitely malnourished. Niko grabbed him and carried him out, both blowing up the place as they ran back to the compound. The mission only took four hours to complete and get back to their worried mates.

Olivia was the the first at the door when they came in. "Is that him?" she asked, worried.

Niko nodded. "He's weak. We'll keep him in the infirmary until he's well enough to move around," he told his daughter and took the young man to the hospital-like room. He hooked him up to IV's to hydrate him and the like.

Olivia stood in the doorway, watching. "You think he'll be okay?" she asked.

"I'll do my hardest to make sure he's alright. He's got some bad scars on his back. Some still look fresh. Come heal him, love," he told his daughter.

"I've never done that on anyone but myself..." she said softly, though she stepped closer to the male on the table.

"Try it, sweetheart," he told her gently. "He's in pain."

She nodded. "I can feel it..." she said softly. Slowly, Olivia took his hand, concentrating on making her healing powers flow through her arm and into his body.

The boy moaned as the pain disapeared and warm comfort overtook his body. He was still unconcious, but he looked much more relaxed now.

After seeing his wounds close and his face relax, Olivia pulled away, stepping back. "Can I watch over him, Daddy?"

Niko grabbed a blanket and laid it over him. "You may," he kissed her forehead. "But he might not wake up for a while."

"That's okay." she said softly. "I just think that after what he's been through that it would be good for him to wake up to a friendly face."

He smiled and kissed his daughter's forehead. "I'm sure he'll appreciate that."

She nodded, looking worridly at her father. "Thanks Daddy."

"He'll be fine," he assured her. "Just don't stay up too late."

"I know he'll be okay." she said softly. "But, what if he's a rogue?" she asked softly.

"He can't be a rogue, sweetheart. He isn't a vampire," he told his daughter.

"So, only vampires can be rogues?" she asked softly. "Then why would they do this?"

"They're becoming organized, trying to reach a goal that we aren't aware of yet," he explained gently to his daughter, keeping his voice low so the unnamed man could sleep.

"What did you do to the place he was in?" she asked.
