She shook her head. "No, I was making sure that if I get into some sort of trouble you can come get me."

"Of course," he kissed her. "If you are ever in trouble, I will always come to protect you," he swore, looking into her eyes. "You ought to know this by now, love," he chuckled.

She nodded. "I know. And you protect my friends." she said softly, slowly wrapping her arms around his neck. "I'll always love you for what you did for Baily. Not letting anything happen to her or to Ryder." she whispered.

He kissed her softly. "I do not regret it," he smiled tenderly. "Not one bit."

She smiled and kissed his lips. "Good." she said softly before stepping back. She did as she was told and concentrated all her energy like she did earlier and focused her thoughs on Jon. She didn't want to go somewhere she didn't want to be.

Niko watched as his mate faded away to her other love.

Jon laid on the ground in a forest, looking up at the sunlight streaming through the canopies of the trees around him. His hands were behind his head, one knee raised and the other relaxed on the ground. His white wings were hidden, he looked completely human, even though he clearly wasn't seeing how he was in heaven.

Fairly appeared next to him, her black wings open. "Jon?" she asked softly, smiling slightly.

Jon jumped up to his feet in one fluid motion, startled by her appearance. "Fairly? What are you doing here," he asked, more happy than words could say to see her.

She smiled at him. "I missed you." she said softly, walking into his arms and holding herself close to him.

He held her tight against him. "Aw, baby... You have no idea how much I've missed you. How have you been? Tell me all that I've missed. Don't leave anything out," he told her.

She nodded and started on what he'd missed, starting with Olivia. Before she knew it, he was leaning against a tree and he was sitting between his legs leaning against his cheast.

He stroked her hair, holding her close as his wings surrounded her gently. "Are you happy with your life, love," he asked her softly.

She nodded, smiling. "Yes. I am. I love Niko so much. But I also love with. I wish sometimes that I was able to like, split myself up so both of you could have me." she said softly turning her head to press her forehead into his neck.

He smiled and kissed her softly. "All I want is you to be happy, sweetheart," he told her. He was no longer angry that she hadn't chosen him. He was pleased to hear that she was so happy with her life, having a daughter who was now full grown and hunting on her own. He was mostly pleased that she was safe.

"I am happy." she said softly, smiling at him. "But you're happy, too, right?" she asked.

"I am," he told her softly. "My soul is at peace. Dianna has helped me greatly. She has a gift for putting people's souls to rest."

She nodded and sat up, moving onto her knees to face him. "You and Dianna should become an item." she smiled.

Jon chuckled. "She and I have talked about that. We haven't decided if we will yet or not. She doesn't want to upset Niko in any way."

"I think it would be glorious." she said setteling back into Jon's arms. "I can tell sometimes that Niko misses Dianna as much as I miss you. I know that if I had chosen you over him that he would have went back to Dianna."

Jon chuckled. "Well, we both fell in love with you. Maybe I can love Diana the same way I love you. She would like to take to Niko about it first, though. To see if he's alright with it."

She nodded. "As long as you can still hold me like this without getting in trouble, I'll be happy."

He chuckled and kissed her forehead.

She smiled and rested against him.

Dianna appeared and smiled happily, seeing Fairly. "Fairly," she said happily, her german accent lessened due to her speaking so much english with Jon.

Fairly smiled and stood, hugging Dianna. "Dianna." she said, happy to see her.
