| All of a sudden an alarm was sounded. The Wolf Horde's army was attacking! He raised his head, his eyes still red from tears, as he got up and picked up a sword, running out of the camp. THe whole camp was swarmed with orcs and goblins, as people were being cut down left and right from him. He ran, trying to join a fray, but than got shoulder bashed by an orc. He fell to his feet and looked up at the orc, who raised his sword to end his life. | |

| Aleta was just stepping into the lake when she heard someone call for her. The hair on the back of her neck rose and end and she groaned before diving head first into the water. There was no way in hell she was just going to waltz right out there and give up her freedom (not to mention she also refused to do it au natural.) |

| Lucan grunted, knowing he heard water splashing from some sort of person or rather, in his case, the vixen jumping in. Was she thinking he could track by scent or was she relaxing? He scoffed, continuing forwards and listening hard, tuning out the sounds. But soon he heard voices, screams from the camp. "Shit!" he hissed, rushing back. It must've been a random attack. He rushed in, avoiding some of those that were fighting as he then saw the damn newbie now on the ground staring at the orc like a dumb idiot. "Argh!" he yelled, pushing his sword straight into the orc's gut, of course he swung, trying to hit him as well, though all he got was a cut on the cheek and his arm. "Damn animal" he growled, continuing to push the blade deeper, it's blood running like water. | |

| Aleta gasped under water and then swam to the surface. She could hear screaming and cries and it frightened her. Getting out of the water she quickly dressed and decided to run for cover. There was a battle going on and she would either be killed or recaptured, neither of which she cared for. |

| He opened his eyes as if expecting to be in heaven (or hell.........he didn't know). Once his eyes were opened he saw the swordsman standing over him as the orc fell over.......gushing blood. While he was elated that he was still alive, he saw another orc raise his axe towards his savior
"Look out!!!" he yelled as he picked up his sword from the ground, and thrusted it deep within the orc's guts.......
As he did the blood sprayed out of the wound.......painting his face red

| "Come on, we have to leave, now! The others are done for, this whole damn camp is done for." Lucan cursed, grabbing his fellow soldier's hand and pulling him up, shaking his senses. "This is your taste of real combat, and for now, we need to run to survive." he explained, knowing he must've been confused and horrified. He dragged the soldier with him into the forest, panting as he pushed himself and almost dragged his fellow man behind him. | |

| Once they stopped he looked down at his hands.........stained with blood. He just killed........another being. The feeling of just ending someone's life was new to him. All of a sudden he cried in anguish. He wanted to be a great warrior, he wanted to vanquish evil........but he didn't know that killing would impact him so much | |

| Lucan grunted, shaking his head and staring at him. "Look, I know it's all 'morally wrong' and such, but you have to get over that. It's war. Don't be such a child." he said, scoffing and walking ahead. "You want to go back and die? That's fine by me, but I would suggest you follow and then you stay alive." he warned as he continued his walk. | |

| Aleta was just getting back to her burrough when she felt a large hand being slapped down on her shoulder. She gasped and yanked the hand away, just before an ax came down which would have sliced off her arm. Jumping back she found herself face to face with a large orc which could have been as tall as 6'0 or more. Grunting, she grabbed for her dagger which she kept strapped to her thigh and dove in, prepared to fight. |

| Lucan sighed, about to just disappear. All he had to hear was the shriek of some surprised little vixen and he knew where she must've been. "That damn..." he never finished as he motioned to his fellow soldier to follow ahead towards where he ordered him to go. "We've found the vixen by a stroke of luck, so go ahead and show me you're ready to be a warrior, strike that damned orc and do us all a favor." he spat, running beside him towards the east of where they had come in originally. | |

| He was still in shock and agony over killing........even if it was an orc. When he heard the grisled warrior's words he looked up. How could he think of asking him to kill again? He than saw the orc with his weapon raised and poised to strike down the woman he had just saved. He didn't want to kill.......but he didn't want her to die. He gripped his sword and dashed towards the scene, and arrived just in time to block the downward arc of the orc's swing with his sword. The power reverberated through his sword and his blade, and he could feel his left wrist (at the pommel) snap. He growled but soon shifted the position of his blade, and did a fully commited stab with the point of his sword, imbeding it into the chest of the orc. He than collapsed near the vixen, grasping his now broken wrist. | |

| Lucan had heard the snap of the other's wrist and winced. At first, it hurts like crazy but soon the hormones kick in and he should feel numb for a while. He then walked over once the battle was done with and looked at the vixen, holding his blade over her neck. "You..." he hissed, pressing his blade closer to her neck. "Get up. We're taking you with us." he said, keeping the blade at her neck until she would comply with his request. | |

| How had she gotten herself trapped into such a deja vu catastrophy? Grimacing she got to her feet, not wanting him to continue to press the blade to the pale of her neck. "You're making a mistake." she hissed, her hands clenching into fists. "You will pay for your injustice, soldier. Of this I swear." |

| Lucan chuckled, raising a brow. "Oh? Really? Who has the blade here, vixen?" he asked, losing the smirk and pressing it all the more against her neck, a thin line embedding into the skin. "You alright?" he asked the other soldier, looking over at him with a glance then back at the girl. | |

| "His wrist is broken." Aleta scoffed, surprised by the soldier's stupid and obvious question. Breathing in, she loked down at the younger soldier who had helped her escape from her prison. The least she could do for him was take care of his wrist. "Let me help him..." she muttered, tensing a bit at the thought of actually helping any soldier of any kind. |

| Lucan rolled his eyes. "He'll live." he replied, sneering at her. With her offer of help, he scoffed and kept the blade by her neck as she moved towards the soldier. "Any funny moves and I'll slice your throat." he warned, watching. | |

| She gasped as she felt the blade pressing farther against her neck and scowled. "How in the hell am I supposed to help him with that blade against my neck?" Breathing in she moved her hand up and moved the blade out of the way. "I won't do anything funny, I swear." Shaking her head and then getting to her knees she ripped off the sleeve of the wounded soldier's shirt and grimaced a bit seeing blood. Reaching into the leather pouch that she kept at her waist she took out some bandages, as well as some herbs. "This should help a bit." she mumbled, cleaning up the wound and then placing an herb over it. As she bandaged his wrist she sighed and then offered him a small smile, "How does that feel?" |

| He was silent throughout the exchange, whimpering in pain. He never felt such escruciating pain in his life. Was this what it meant to be a warrior? Was this what he was yearning for? Being horrified, beaten, and nearly killed.....twice
When the vixen came over and bandadged his wrist gently. He never knew that another being could be so gentle..and he was gratefull for it
"T-thank you" he said, still in shock and pain, his wrist going numb

| Lucan sighed, shaking his head. "You'll be alright, it'll be hard though to live through that pain. I shouldn't have sent you in to do that.." he muttered, rolling his eyes and looking at the vixen. "And you, how the hell did you escape?" he asked, his eyes sharp on the girl. | |

| She smiled softly at him and brushed some of his hair from his eyes. His bangs were damp from seat and he was a bit bloodied which surprisingly worried her. Looking back over at the other soldier, she sighed and then got to her feet, knowing that he meant business and that he was prepared to kill her if she didn't watch what she said. "I escaped through shere dumb luck." she answered pitifully, her ears flattening on her head in defeat. |

| Lucan snorted. "Really? She may have helped with your wrist little boy, but she killed some of the men who even were able to catch her. She may suck at seduction for the moment, but she can kill if she wants to." he said, remembering that night. "Also, she'd be as good as dead if she didn't follow with us. Those Orc can smell good, and they will catch her scent and ours." he said, sheathing his blade and sighing. "Let's keep moving." | |

| She looked away from Lucan as he spoke, hating the sensation of being talked about as if she weren't there. The older soldier seemed to find it keen to regard her as a complete child, a completely useless entity. While they both knew her as a murderer neither of them knew what had brought her to do it. Breathing in, she sighed and kept her eyes away from them both, only reaching up her hand to tug her veil up to cover her ears, as well as partially her eyes. |

| "Yeah........but don't hold her prisoner!" he argued
"We don't know the circumstances of the story. I mean court officials are VERY corrupt nowadays!" he argued, hoping to help her gain her freedom
