Trace and Me Only!

"Umm, yes, that would be lovely." she smiled at the bartender and turned around to face the mystery man once again.

He smiled. "How are you, this evening?"

"Alright, my sister was supposed to meet me here awhile back but I her babysitter canceled last minute, so I am here, by myself." she said watching the bartender fix her drink, she then turned to look at him once again. "How about yourself?" Bethany couldn't help but get lost in his eyes as she looked at him.

He smiled. "Just thought I'd enjoy the town a while. I'd enjoy it with my friends, but they're all working," he shrugged.

"Thats a pity." she smiled shyly, "I moved here for a job not to long ago, don't know anyone."

"I've lived here for a few years and still don't know that many people," he chuckled. "Then again, I'm sleeping most of the day. Or working on my computer."

"Oh thats too bad. I'm a photographer, so I get out a lot I guess." she said taking a sip of her drink.

"A photographer, huh? That's cool," he smiled. "What do you take pictures of?"

"Things that follow the stories in the newspaper, then some stuff on my freetime." she said simply.

"So you're a photojournalist," he chuckled. "Very interesting."

"Yeah." she smiled at him.

He smiled. "What kind of stories do you write," he asked curiously.

"Whatever I am sent out to cover." she chuckled. "Anything from a sewage break, to a robbery."

"that sounds like it could end up to be a bit dangerous. curiousity killed the cat, you know."

"Yes, but it's the thrill that excites me." she chuckled. "Even though I'm scared shitless to cover something like a robbery." she took another sip of her drink.

"You're a very interesting woman," he chuckled.

"Oh, I wouldn't say interesting, just....different." she smiled, the more she drank the more attractive he seemed to become.

"Different how," he asked curiously.

"I'm just average except for the job." she shrugged.

"Average? Who's ever called you average?"

"Myself? I don't know." she chuckled.

"Why do beautiful women always think so little of themselves," he asked, shaking his head.

She blushed looking down at her feet.

he chuckled. "Would you like to dance?"

She looked up and smiled a little, still blushing "Yeah, I'd like that."
