He nodded.

"So, is it early or late for you?" she asked.

"Late. Very late," he told her.

She nodded. "Well, I'll let you get to bed I guess."

He nodded. "I'll see you at sundown. Good day," he told her and went to his quarters.

"Good night..." she told him softly, going to the kitchen again. She sucked on her thumb for a moment and shrugged. Doesn't taste any different. she thought, getting some food.

Damon had fallen asleep, holding Baily still.

Baily's alarm started going off and she groaned, slapping it a few times before it shut off and she moved to curl back next to Damon, nuzzling into his neck.

Damon growled at the alarm and held Baily tighter against him in his sleep.

She chuckled at his growl but slowly started to pull away.

He opened his eyes groggily. "What are you doing," he asked, yawning.

"I have school." she said. "I'd like nothing more than to stay here, but I have school."

He grumbled and sat up. "Alright..." he yawned tiredly.

She nodded. "thank you." she chuckled.

"Why are you laughing at me," he asked, teasing as he tried to force himself to wake up.

"Because you're being silly." she smiled.

"How am I being silly? I'm half asleep," he yawned.

She shrugged. "You just are." she said then looked over at him, gasping slightly. "I'm sorry... I forgot that you slept during the day."

"It's okay," he chuckled and kissed her cheek. "I can always fall back asleep. No big deal."

She nodded and blushed slightly. "Alright."

"Have a good day at school. Stay safe. I'll see you at sunset," he promised her, getting up to go to his own quarters.

She smiled and nodded, watching him go. "Have a good sleep."

"I will," he chuckled. His clothes had her scent all over them. He'd sleep well.
