Ironically enough, Charlie had been at the cafeteria for an hour, staring at his coffee with a bagel on the side. He just didn't feel like stomaching much, even a full breakfast or lunch. He had no feeling of time at the moment. He sighed, staring at his reflection in the liquid. "I can't explain what the hell's wrong with me.....God." he sighed, rubbing his head and gripping onto his hair tightly.

Still, it was both their faults. Charlie drank the potion just as Annabelle had supplied it, but of course for Benjamin and not him. He stood, kicking the chair and ignoring the shouts of warning from the cafeteria lady as he left the cafeteria. "Fuck this school, I gotta get out of here." he said quietly, biting his lip hard and practically tasting the blood. Shuddering as he got into his room, he could smell her, he could smell what had happened the night before. He then started packing, calling his parents to immediately remove him from the school. He wanted to escape. He had to escape or he'd probably go after her, and beg her to tell him what had happened.

Still, within the same day, his parents both came and took him home, taking him out of the school and simply enrolling him in another. It took them less than a day. But as they drove away in their fancy car, Charlie couldn't help but look back. Why did Annabelle refuse him? Why was there pain and suffering in her eyes? What had they done that night!? He sighed, feeling himself almost drown in guilt and horrible doubt. Were those dreams real? But then again, he would never know, he never really thought of seeing her again...

A few months passed, four to be exact. What exactly went on during that time frame? Well, as soon as Charlie had left the school, his mind always went back to that girl. That girl with the cute smile, that girl with the angry attitude, that girl who for some reason made him want to cry. Why? That question repeated and echoed in his head all that time, but it was starting to lessen up and he felt normal again. Still, he was the same, a loner. He was put into another private school, but it was in his own hometown, which felt so much better. He sighed as he got into his room, the dorms being different in this school since it was very well known for intelligent students, so it had good subsidies and such. Sitting on his bed, he looked at his cellphone: 4:00. "Geez...what now?" he mumbled, staring out the window and getting a flash. He blinked, rubbing his eyes. He thought to had seen snow, and that girl right there in the middle of it all. So much for forgetting.

Charlie had heard of a debate team coming from his old school, but he didn't fret. He didn't think that Annabelle was even on the team, so, he had nothing to worry about. Still some of his guy friends wanted to see if the girls were hot. What a group. He sighed as he continued on with classes, not thinking about what was to come. Every day since he left, his heart slowly let up, letting him actually breathe for a while. Despite that, he couldn't bring himself to even talk to any girls or go out with them. He felt like he was betraying something, a memory.

Obviously it was an acceptable temperature for Charlie, but, he liked the cold. He sighed as they were in the cafeteria, right in the front row of where the competition would take place. The guys around him were all giggling and thinking of getting jokes in. All he did was sigh again and stare in different places of the room, even counting the bricks. He had no clue that Annabelle was pregnant with his child.

His eyes widened as he saw that girl again. Annabelle. Was it coincidence or was Fate screwing him over? He thought it to be nice and courteous, waving at her with a smile. It's just a friendly gesture, right? Charlie cleared his throat as some of his friends laughed and whistled at his attempts to be friendly with the girl.

Many didn't care about the debate team match. Hell, most just wanted to see their school win. As he saw Annabelle turn a bit, Charlie felt his heart stop. Why? He gulped, blushing a bit and smiling again. He hoped to talk to her after the debate. Lying back in his chair, he watched with all of his attention.

Charlie notice how now she didn't have as much a serious look as before. Did he affect her? He sighed, watching intently and actually rooting for her team. He had to have things explained, like why they ended up in bed together. He had to know, especially to discuss about his 'dreams'.

Charlie stayed quiet as usual, watching Annabelle. He just found himself nostalgic. But he knew not why. He just knew he had to talk to her after the debate. He prayed it would go quickly before he would decide to stand and take her outside.

Seeing just barely the girl going into the common room, Charlie followed her. Once inside, he closed the door and looked at her. "Hey..." he mumbled, blushing a bit. He always felt nervous and giddy just by being in her presence. "It's been a while, how've you been?" he asked as he walked closer with a smile.
