She smiled and kissed his chest one more time. "Anyone would be happy to see Nicky."

"He's a good boy," he agreed with a smile. "Very loveable."

"Just like me." she smiled.

He smiled and kissed her. "He's definitely his mommy's boy."

She smiled and kissed his chest. "That's alright. Kale's a Daddy's girl."

He chuckled softly. "That she is."

she smiled, kissing his chest gently.

He smiled and nuzzled her lovingly.

"You do know that I'm sorry for doing this to the pack, right?" she asked softly, not looking at him.

"I know, sweetheart," he kissed her softly.

She nodded and sighed. "does the pack know that? I couldn't bare to be banished again..." she clung to him a little tighter. "I can't be away from you anymore.

"I won't let them banish you," he promised, nuzzling her neck lovingly as he clung to her.

"I can't leave you." she whispered again. She used to think she could be by herself, that if she needed to, she could live without Ben. Now, she knew she really needed him.

"You won't ever have to," he kissed her. "If they make you leave, I'll go with you and bring Nicky with."

"What about Carley?" she asked.

"She won't be able to stay away from Brandon... And they're having pups of their own."

"I know, but, she's our daughter. If we leave, I want her to come too." she said softly.

"We're not even sure if we're leaving, sweetheart. Just relax," he kissed her forehead and her lips softly. "Everything will be alright."

She nodded and moved as close to him as she could possibly get. "I know, I just... I just don't want things to go wrong."

He held her close against him. "Neither do I, honey."

"I love you." she whispered.

"I love you, too," he kissed her softly.

she smiled. "I love you more."

"Nu- uh. I love you more," he kissed her neck.

she shook her head. "I don't think so."
