She half-woke up when he came back and snuggled close to him, smiling softly as she fell back asleep. "I love you," she mumbled.

He smiled and rested his head on his paws, close to her head. I love you, too, He replied softly.

She smiled and fell back asleep, warm and comfortable.

Carley woke up that morning and had a moment of peace before getting up and running to go throw up. She came back a little while later, rubbing her belly.

Brandon jolted awake as she ran, sitting up sleepily. "Carley?" he yawned.

"I'm okay." she said softly as she came back.

He went to her and nuzzled her. "What's wrong? You got up so fast," he murmured tiredly.

"Morning sickness." She said softly, letting him hold her.

He kissed her forehead, still holding her. "Do you feel better now? Do you want me to get something for you?"

"Some water." she said softly, looking up at him.

"Sure. I'll be right back," he kissed her cheek and went to get her some water.

she smiled and laid down on the bed again, rubbing her stomach.

He came back soon and stroked her hair. "Here's your water, sweetheart."

She sat up and drank the water the kissed him. "Thank you baby."

"not a problem," he smiled and kissed her.

She smiled, rubbing her belly. "These babies are making things difficult." she said softly.

He kissed her belly gently. "Don't be so difficult, babies. You're hurting your mommy," he murmured.

She smiled, running her fingers through his hair. "They're not doing it on purpose..." she said softly.

Brandon rubbed her belly, to try to calm the little ones down.

She smiled. "I think that's working." She said softly.

He smiled softly and kept rubbing her belly gently.

"Are you ready to be a daddy?" she asked, looking at him.

"I'm a little scared," he admitted. "I don't know if I'll be a good dad..."

"I don't know if I'd be a good mom either." she said.

He looked at her and nuzzled her. "You'll be a great mommy."
