He smiled and nuzzled her. "What are we going to do today, love?"

She shrugged. "Tell me more about the Change."

He nodded and cuddled her. "I'll bite you in my wolf form. My saliva will carry the... virus, I guess, that will turn you into a wolf. The pain will last about twenty four hours, and you'll be tired afterwards. During the time of pain, you'll be more vulnerable. About as helpless as a newborn human. I won't let anything hurt you," he nuzzled her tenderly. "I'll always protect you."

She nodded as she listened. She could deal with the pain. She had no fears for that. It would simply be everything ELSE that worried her. "So twenty-fours... Is there any possibility that the virus could be rejected?"

"I've not heard of such a thing," he shook his head. "At least not rejected from humans."

She nodded. "But its plausible?"

"I suppose it could be..."

She nodded, sighing. She really didn't like the fact that it was possible...

"But I don't think it is... I would have heard of it," he told her, kissing her softly.

She smiled, kissing him back. "Okay baby..." He always knew what to say to gain her trust so quickly.

He nuzzled her lovingly. "You'll be such a beautiful wolf," he whispered, smiling lovingly at her.

She smiled, kissing him happily. "For the both of us, I hope so..."

He chuckled and kissed her back. "What do you want to do on your last day of being human," he asked her, holding her hand.

She shrugged, yawning. "Honestly, I really don't know... What do you suggest?"

"I'm not sure," he said, thinking. "Is there anything you've always wanted to do?"

She ahook her head, sighing. "No. Not at all..."

"Really? Hmm..." He thought a moment and shrugged. "I don't know. I know what I want to do, but it isn't that hard to guess."

She smiled, kissing him. "Then lets... I've only got one human day left. Let's make it worth while."

He chuckled and kissed her back, pulling her closer as his kisses grew deeper.

She smiled, at least her last day would be comfortable... She didn't know how her body was going to cope with all of this, but by God she would try...

Alex spent the whole day making sure she was fully satisfied in every possible way, never letting her smile fade.

Maria was spoiled that day. Late into the night, she was pleased in every way possible... She asked him anything, things she normally wouldn't... And he oblidged her. She knew it was because of what she was about to go through, but she liked the attention.

He held her close as he let her rest, watching her sleep. He never let his eyes drift from her as he memorized everything about her.

She smiled gently in her sleep. Her dream was strange... Heavy and confusing, yet simple and creative. She sighed, her mind flashing random childhood images past her with only seconds to remember.
