She blushed and slipped into that state of mind he had intended for her. She collapsed against him, unable to stand with her own power.

He smiled softly and held her close. "Do you have enough strength to ride on my wolf-back," he asked her softly.

She nodded and kissed him heavily, wanting that feeling rushing through her again... It was amazing what he could do to her...

He chuckled and kissed her back, holding her close.

She blushed a bit darker, slowly pulling away from him. "I... Uh... Later?"

He smiled softly and nodded. "I wouldn't dream of leaving my mate unsatisfied." he nuzzled her.

She blushed, holding him close. She could already imagine how good a day she would have.

He smiled and lifted her up, shifting her onto his back. "Hold on tight, I'm changing," he told her softly. He shifted into a wolf and trotted out of the house, then started on a full-out sprint up the road and into the forest. He ran quickly, making sure to stop if it felt like she was slipping. He heard the pack running with him, keeping a further eye on their surroundings. They'd growl if they heard, saw, or smelled anything. So far, nothing.

She held to him tightly. The wind pushed the bags around on her back, making it harder for her to stay steady, but she found a way.

Nick slowed to a stop and looked back at her, nosing one of her bags. He was offering to carry it in his mouth so she didn't have to worry about holding it.

Maria shook her head, kissing the top of his head. She swung one of the bags arounds so it was now between them, like a body pillow

Alex nuzzled her and continued towards the mountain. They reached the mountain at nightfall, Alex panting from having ran all day. He let her down and shook his fur.

She smiled gently when he set her down, rubbing his back gently. He had carried alot while running, so she expected him to be quite tired.

He caught his breath and licked her cheek. The pack brought in mouthfuls of leaves at a time, piling them at the deepest point of the shallow cave, which was only about twenty feet into the mountain. Alex shifted into his human form and smiled at her. "For your comfort," he translated for the black alpha who was looking at her. "Better than sleeping on rocks and pebbles."

She blushed, nodding. "Thank you. All of you..." she looked up at Alex, biting her lip.

They nodded and left once the bed was big enough for two full-grown wolves to have plenty of space to rest. They guarded the entire mountain, not staying too close to the makeshift den.

Alex kissed her softly, trying to relax her again. "Don't be afraid, love," he murmured gently. "I'm right here," he stroked her cheek soothingly.

She whimpered, closing her eyes. "I know love..."

"Shhh, love," he whispered, holding her close. He kissed her lovingly.

She kissed him in return, hoping that she could steady herself for what would happen later.

He touched her softly and tenderly, needing her to relax. "What are you afraid of," he whispered. "Pain? It won't last long. I'll be right here to help you through it."

She settled a bit at his touch, kissing him to make sure she was safe. "I'm afraid my body will reject the transformation... And what could happen if that's the case..."

"Your body will only reject it if you're afraid," he murmured softly. "Have confidence your body will make it through and it will. Mind over matter," he nuzzled her gently. "Your own conscious is your greatest obstacle."

She blushed, nodding gently. She wanted to be strong... For him especially...

He smiled softly at her. "I know you will make it, love. You are strong. Strong as any wolf I've ever faced."

She smiled then, and kissed him. She didn't intend on having such passion within it, but it calmed her. That was what mattered. At least for now...
