He panted, laying his head on her shoulder. "I see why i need that day off..." he chuckled.

Kat smiled, her head on his chest. ''Yeah...''

"God, I love you," he kissed her shoulder tenderly, holding her close.

''I love you too baby,'' she said in a whisper.

He smiled and kissed her cheek before laying his head back down and going to sleep.

Kat sighed, closing her eyes and fell asleep to the gentle rise-and-fall of his chest.

Deryk woke up with a yawn, smiling lovingly at his fiance and got up to make her breakfast.

Kat slept until the smell of food filled the entire apartment... ''Mmm...''

He brought in french toast, pancakes buiscuits and gravy, eggs, and bacon to her on a tray. "good morning, love."

Kat was still very-much not awake, so she gave him a todler-like coo and slowly sat up. ''Oh... Baby.''

He kissed her softly and sat the tray in her lap. "I didn't know what you felt like so I made everything," he chuckled. "I'll eat whatever you don't."

She sat up slowly as to let her mind catch up with her. ''We'll each eat half...''

"Alright, sweetheart," he kissed her forehead.

Kat smiled, smiling as she closed her eyes for a moment. ''I love you baby...''

"I love you, too," he stroked her hair. "do you want me to go put this up and let you get more sleep," he asked her softly.

Kat shook hee head, yawning again. ''No baby... You know how long it takes me to wake up...''

He smiled and sat next to her, holding her close and stealing little bits of food while she woke up.

Kat sniled gently, kissing him softly between bites of food. Towards the end of breakfast she had woken up all the way, able to act and think clearly.

He smiled. "What would you like to do today, love," he asked.

Kat smiked. ''Whatever you want to do today...''

He chuckled and kissed her lovingly. "Shall we call our friends up and get that wedding going," he asked.

Kat smiled. ''You know I'll have to shop for it first...''

"that's some fast shopping," he chuckled.
