He chuckled and nuzzled her. "I'm glad," he murmured, pulling her even closer, if it was possible.

Kat smiled, kissing him gently. "You're a lot stronger than I realized..."

He smiled and kissed her back softly. "I gotta make sure I can take care of my love, protect her, and pleasure her."

Kat smiled, kissing his neck gently. "You more than pleasure me love..."

He smiled and nuzzled her. "I couldn't think of a better word," he admitted with a soft chuckle.

Kat smirked. "It's fitting..."

He chuckled and kissed her softly. "I guess it does."

Kat smiled softly, kissing his chin, his lips, his nose, and his forehead. She rested her head on his chest, sighing and smiling.

He smiled and hugged her close, making sure the covers were over her to keep her warm. He kissed the top of her head and held her as he closed his eyes.

Katarina smiled, kissing his cheek before she closed her eyes and fell lightly asleep.

Deryk slept soundly as he held her close, oblivious to everything but her in his arms.

A tear slid down her cheek, a smile on her lips. What could she do but be happy? She loved him, was so in love with him it was deadly.

He snored softly as he slept.

Kat smiled in her sleep, curling up against him.

When he woke up a few hours later, Deryk yawned and smiled at his fiance, kissing her forehead.

Kat smiled in her sleep, sighing happily. "Mmmrn..."

He chuckled softly, holding her close, fixing the blanket so it was around her to keep her warm.

Kat settled back into the warmth of the bed, smiling as she fell deeper into sleep in his arms.

He stroked her hair softly and kissed her forehead before laying still so he didn't end up waking her up.

Kat curled up closer to him, wrapping her arms around his waist. She didn't know how long he would lay there with her, but she hoped it would be a while.

He laid there for a while, holding her close. After about an hour, he kissed her forehead softly and got up to make her breakfast.

Kat smiled and fell a bit deeper into her sleep. However, when he left her, she grew cold very fast and pulled the blankets around her and hid under the blankets.

When he got back into the bedroom with a tray with pancake, toast, and bacon on it, he chuckled and uncovered her face, kissing her lovingly. "Good morning, sweetheart," he murmured softly. "Are you hungry?"

Kat smiled and leaned up, kissing him happily. "I love you. And yes, I'm very hungry right now..."

He smiled. "I love you, too. I made you pancakes, toast, and bacon," he grinned, setting the tray on her lap after she sat up. "If you want anything else, don't be afraid to tell me."
