Kat smiled. "And it hurts so good..." She kissed him, resting her chin on his chest with a smile up at him.

He chuckled and kissed her softly.

Kat smiled, kissing his chest softly and closed her eyes. "So, was Christmas good for you?"

"Best. Christmas. Ever," he stroked her hair.

Kat smiled, little shivers running up her spine again. "Glad to hear it love..."

"How about you," he looked down at her. "Was there anything I could have done to make it better," he asked, truly wanting to know.

Kat chuckled, "You made it better than I expected..."

"What were you expecting," he asked curiously, nuzzling her.

Kat shrugged. "I don't really know, but I'm overjoyed I got what I did..."

He smiled. "I'm elated that you excepted. You have no idea," he kissed her.

Kat laughed, kissing him gently. "Oh, sweet-heart.. How I love you. You're so fantastic..."

He kissed her back lovingly. "I love you, too."

Kat smiled, closing her eyes. "Perfect..."

He smiled and held her close as he relaxed and soon fell asleep.

Kat smiled, falling asleep as well.

Deryk woke up early the next morning and slowly got up, trying not to wake her, to make breakfast for her.

Kat had slept well towards noon, tired from their night before.

He brought the food in on a tray for her and kissed her forehead when she was awake. "Good morning, love," he smiled. "Brunch?"

Kat smiled gently, hearing his voice. "Brunch? What time is it?" She looked over at the clock and grimaced, blushing. "Oh, that late... Goodness me, sorry I slept in so late."

"It's alright, love," he kissed her softly. "I bet you're hungry," he smiled.

Kat smiled, nodding happily. "Yeah, definitely."

He smiled and set the tray down over her lap. "Here you are, love."

Kat smiled, sitting up more. "Thank you love..."

[hmmm... should she be pregnant soon? or shall we wait? i've got company in half an hour! >< brb, tho, gotta walk dogs]

"Anytime," he kissed her softly.

(Hmm.... Let's wait until they're close to the wedding...)

Kat smiled warmly, patting the bed as she began to eat.
