Celine smiled and then looked back over to Deren. "Deren?" she asked him, chuckeling softly. It was around five o'clock, so she wasn't sure if there was going to be anymore alone time between her and him while his father made dinner.

Damien went to the kitchen to make dinner.

"What's with that look?" she asked him, walking over to him. He looked surprised about something, and she couldn't tell what it was. Shrugging her shoulders, she took a seat beside him on the couch.

Damien fired up the stove and pulled out what he needed and he started working on the main course. Then when that was simmering He worked on the appatizers.

Kimberly had snuck upstairs to take a quick cold shower. She wasn't going to let herself be totally flustered at dinner. Sighing softly to herself, she walked out of the shower wearing a towel, and went to dress in more casual clothes as oposed to the pantsuit that she had worn to work.

Damien started to sing as he made a very delicious antipasti (appetizer).

He sat the antipasti in the living room under a low busen flame. " Deren stir that now and then please"

Deren nodded.

It was smoked mozzarella fonduta. He brought out the tuscan bread and wine glasses.

" What kind of wine are you thinking of dad?" Deren asked stirring it gently

"Principato Bianco. The dry medium-bodied Italian white wine has a refreshing fruity flavors that will match well with the rich, creamy cheeses in the antipasti." Damien said.

" Mm I think you're right. That would good well. Mom will love this." he said

" I was planning on this for a week. She deserves a good meal after a hard week" Damien said.

Celine chuckled softly seeing both Deren and his father go on about different types of wine. She also felt it touching that Damien had planned all of this for his wife due to the fact that he felt she had working too hard. He really must have cared about her.

" We having a soup or a salade?" Deren asked.

" Well the food is rather thick so I'm preparing a small light salade. " He said.

" Smart move." he nodded.

"Now where is your mother" he said.

"I saw her go upstairs. She's probably taking a quick shower." Robyn answered, walking out of the kitchen. Despite being fifteen going on sixteen, she still was not able to notice when her mother was flustered due to her father.

Speak of the devil. Kimberly walked down the stairs quietly wearing her usual around home outfit, which was a form fitting sweater and pair of worn, faded jeans. Her fiery red hair was still damp, and she was tying it up into a loose bun.

" Ah there is my beautiful wife." Damien smiled as he poured her a glass of wine, " you guys enjoy the antipasti. I have a salade to prepare. Once the salade is done I shall call you to the kitchen." He walked out.

Kimberly smiled and happily accepted the glass from him. Pecking him on the cheek, she then perched on the arm of the couch. Once he left to prepare the salad, she chuckled and then followed after him. Time to get some revenge.

" Love" Damien turned around " Ah Ah Ah. I got a dinner to do. It'll burn." He said looking at her with pouty eyes. " This is really special. Please " he looked at her with his big blue eyes. " I planned this all week. Go enjoy the wine and fonduta. Please Kim." He was all for revenge but this was something he really wanted to do. It was a special night. It was the day they first kissed.

That would certainly explain why he had pushed her up against his car and had ravished her before walking into the house. Pouting, Kimberly nodded her head. "Fine." she mumbeled, half smiling at him and leaving the kitchen. The one time that she had been willing to be bold, and he didn't want it. It was enough to make her laugh.

Yes it was really ironic but when Damien wants to be romantic he goes all out. He sang in french as he cooked.

" Mom you gotta try this." Deren said through a mouth full of cheese and bread.

Kimberly chuckled softly, noticing the small glob of cheese on the corner of his mouth. Taking a seat on the couch, she took one of the metal skewers and placed a piece of bread on the tip to dip.

Celine took a napkin and gently wiped away the cheese, replacing it with a soft kiss. Smiling gently, feeling accomplished that she didn''t feel too tingly, she took a skewer herself and started to eat.

Deren smiled and blushed happily. " this smoked Motzerella rocks! and the wine really makes it taste good."

Spencer came down his hair in his face as he sat down taking a skewer.

Kimberly sighed, trying very hard not to role her eyes at her son, who was still moody over the fact that she would not let him build a half pipe in the backyard. As if she were stupid enough to allow that. Especially when he was already getting cut up enough with the ramp in the drive way. Though, she still tried to create some small talk between them. "Spencer, is it really true that Maddison Ortega is going to be joining your class?" Maddison was currently America's Sweetheart, staring in several award winning films and also sining for some of the soundtracks.

Little did he know that she would be the only girl to get him unbelievably tongue tied and sweaty palmed. Even if he didn't like her, he would have to admit sooner or later that she was one of the most beautiful girls he had ever seen. Long, ebony hair, and electric blue eyes. She looked like a character from a gothic themed film. A dark angel.

Only time would tell whether or not they were meant to be together. She would change him and he would change her. And they would see that they needed one another. For better and for worse.

Kimberly yawned softly and glanced over at the clock. It was ten to six, and she felt a little antsy waiting for her husband to finish dinner. That had been the first time he had ever turned down a few minutes of alone time to flirt and be naughty.
