She smiled and shrugged. "Adam knows that. He'll come in like, a few hous before we have to leave and get me ready."

Alex sighed, nodding. "So, we'll just lay in bed til then." he nodded again, holding her against him. He then grabbed the remote, turning on the tv and luckily landing on a commercial about the very show she was to be a guest on. "Hey, there's your show." he grinned.

She lifted her head and sighed, smiling. "Guess so. She's funny. I'm excited." she said.

Alex chuckled. "Yeah, I'm sure you are. But uh..babe, I gotta talk to you about something...I just remembered, too..which sucks." he muttered, meaning it wasn't good news.

She looked at him, worried. "what?"

Alex sighed, looking down. "I might be getting sent to Iraq....in a few months. It depends whether they need extras or not, and usually they do all the time.." he muttered, looking back up at her and kissing her hands.

She shook her head. "No... You have to stay... I need you."

Alex closed his eyes, already feeling that he should've told her before they left. "I have to go where the job takes me....You know that." he said, biting his lip.

She nodded. "My job's the same way." she sighed and kissed his lips softly. "If you do go, promise me that you'll take care of yourself. Remember that you have me waiting for you."

Alex nodded, sighing. "Man, of all times..." he said, shaking his head. "I swear I'll come back to you in one piece, though I can't guarantee I won't have scars.." he chuckled, trying to at least make her smile.

She picked up the attempt to lighten the mood and she smirked. "Scars are sexy."

Alex laughed and sighed, laying back on the bed and staring at the ceiling. "Well, getting them is half the fight." he snickered, shaking his head and smiling. "So, you'll be a good girl while I'm gone?" he asked, a little worried.

"Define 'good'." She said slowly, turning onto her side and propping herself up with an elbow.

"Well, good as in not cheat on me spontaneously or do something stupid like drink." Alex replied, staring at her with a grin.

She started at him for a while before slitting her eyes. "I think I'm insulted..." she said simply.

Alex grinned, kissing her passionately. "Just don't do anything stupid. I'm damn tired of seeing celebrities dying of the simplest of things, including alcohol or car accidents." he mumbled against her lips and hugged her tightly.

"I promise to keep myself in one piece until you come back. But that's not what I was talking about. It's the cheating part... Do you really think I would?" she asked.

Alex shook his head, sighing. "I just...Can you just believe that I'm worried as hell that the real prince charming might come on his white horse and rescue you?" he said, frowning a bit.

"you are my prince charming." she smiled, kissing his lips softly.

Alex smiled, kissing back and caressing her face. "I love you.." he whispered, staring into her eyes.

"I love you, too," she said softly, kissing him back.

Alex sighed against her lips and smiled. "Hm, I'm gonna miss this..." he mumbled as he looked over her and chuckled. "Where else are you going after the show?"

She frowned and shrugged. "i'm not sure. If you're able, I'd like to spend some more time with you." She blushed. "Maybe get married."

Alex blushed but smiled sheepishly. "Wow, marriage....To a guy like me?" he asked, grinning. He liked that thought, married to the girl of his dreams. Well, it was too early to think on now, but it seemed nice long term.

She frowned and buried her face in his neck. "It's okay if you want to say no." she mumbled.
