" Soon he'll be out here hunting" he said gently



" Because you will not give him an heir and I will keep my title as leader" he bellowed.

Alex looked at him. "How long do you think until that is," she asked curiously.

Leah growled. "Jake is the rightful leader, everyone knows that. I don't know why you insist on trying to keep your old rank."

" I'm not sure" he said truthfully


" Because he backed down! There is no going back!" Sam said and slapped her.

Alex hugged him. "By the way, I love you," she smiled at him.

Leah growled, looking up at him. His hand left a red mark on her face. "He claimed his rightful place. He can't go back. You should step down, you f*cking douc*ebag."

" I love yout too" he smiled.



" I will kill him and you if I have to" Sam said.

Alex smiled and took his hand, holding Cody's dinner in her other hand, and walked with him back to Nahuel's place.

Leah growled. "You won't win against Jake. Ever."

Cody was nestled in a tight bundle of blankets in a little rocking crib.


" Oh I believe I will win when he listens to the offer. Your freedom for his head" he said darkly

Alex smiled and picked up her baby boy, cradling him gently in her arms.

Leah growled. "How about your head," she snarled, shaking violently.

Cody yawned softly. He was only a few days old.



" Silence!" he bellowed and slammed the door shut. He had her locked in a tornado celler.

Alex smiled and nuzzled her little boy gently. "Are you hungry," she asked him gently, showing him his dinner.

Leah growled and beat on the door. "Let me out of here," she screamed.

Sam was gone.

Alex smiled and kissed his forehead. "How cute," she murmured and made a little cut in his dinner so he could eat.

Leah yelled and screamed until she couldn't anymore, then just resorted to pounding on the door.

Bryan got a bottle for her to put it in.




Jake soon heard pounding. He ran faster till he came to a celler door, " Hello?"

"Jake," Leah croaked. "Watch out for Sam. He wants to be pack leader," she said through the door.

Alex drained the blood of the small animal and put the bottle to Cody's mouth, smiling softly. "Here you go, sweetie."

Cody sucked on the bottle hungrly.



There was a growl as Jake turned and phase and jumped out of Sam's attack. " What the hell are you doing!"

" I'm never giving up my title as leader!" Sam growled as he went for Jake's throat. Jake him in the head with a massive paw. Jake was bigger and stronger than sam.

Alex smiled, rocking back and forth slowly.

Leah listened, feeling helpless.

Cody was happy and very content.



It was a nasty fight but there was a loud cry and Sam layed limp on the forest floor too hurt to get up. Jake would never kill. " I give" Sam said softly wincing in pain.

Jake just releized he now was the leader.

Leah tried rattling the door again, worried about Jake.

Alex took his bottle away when he was done and held him close happily.

jake came over and opened the celler. " You ok"


Cody burped gently

Leah nodded. "Are you," she asked worriedly, looking him over.

Alex chuckled softly and rocked him gently, holding onto his little hand.

" Little cut here and there but good" he said softly. " I got worried when you didn't come back from the store" he said gently



Cody mued at her

Leah hugged him gently. "Sam just grabbed me out of nowhere. I'm sorry I scared you."

Alex smiled happily, kissing his little hand.

"I'm fine," she told him. She didn't want to mention that she might be pregnant, too. Not now, at least.

Jake held her close so glad he didn't hurt her. " well I guess I'm the leader now..." he said softly.
