Trace and Me Only!

She cried into his shoulder not even knowing what to do anymore.

Once they arrived at the compound, Kade carried her inside and sat her down on the infirmary bed gently. "Do you mind if I check for any other wounds," he asked her softly, tenderly wiping some tears away with his thumb.

"No." she said quietly and closer her eyes.

He gently, slowly removed her ruined clothes, careful to not scare her.

She had a couple more bites on her, in places that suggested they tried to do more than just drink from her. Bethany turned her head to the side and closed her eyes, blushing like crazy, but avoiding his gaze because she was ashamed of what the rouges did to her.

"Don't be ashamed, sweetheart," he murmured soothingly to her. "These will heal a little slower, but they won't scar," he told her gently.

She just nodded quietly, still avoiding his gaze.

He grabbed a damp cloth. "Would it bother you if I washed the blood from you," he asked her, not wanting to scare her or force her to do anything.

"No..." she said quietly

He gently wiped the blood from her body, not letting her curves or soft skin distract him from making her comfortable.

"Thank you." she said quietly and closed her eyes for a little bit. She felt somthing for him it was kinda faint, and she tried to ignore it when he was cleaning her up, but she knew something was there.

He nodded silently and finished cleaning her before gently putting a blanket around her. "Are you cold or hungry," he asked her softly.

"Can I still eat food?" she asked weakly curning under the blanket.

He nodded. "Yes, you can," he told her gently, stroking her hair tenderly. "Is there anything specific you want," he asked.

"Grilled Cheese." she told him leaning her head into his hand a little.

He smiled softly, holding back a gentle chuckle. "Grilled cheese, it is." He pulled out his cell phone. "Jess? She's hungry. You have the stuff to make grilled cheese? [pause] ...No, she doesn't. [pause] Yeah... She's pretty shaken up..." he looked at Beth. "Do you want anything to drink," he asked her gently.

"Lemonade maybe?" she asked hesitantly knowing they were talking about her.

"Lemonade," he repeated to Jess. "Alright, we'll be here, thanks," he said and hung the phone up. "You'll like Jess," he told her gently. "She's very nice."

She just nodded tiredly wincing a little as she tried to sit up a little bit.

"Don't force yourself," he told her gently, putting his arm around her back and gingerly lifting her so sh was sitting up and leaning against the pillows.

She pulled the blankets up around her, shivering a little bit. "Thank you."

He put a slightly heavier blanket over the hospital sheet. "Are you comfortable," he asked, only concerned about her comfort and lack of pain.

She nodded quietly, "I never did get your name..." she said quietly

"My name is Kaden. You can call me Kade, if you'd like," he told her gently, stroking some hair out of her face.

Jess came in with a tray, a glass of lemonade and a plate of grilled cheese on it. "How are you feeling, sweetie," she asked, setting the lap-table over her legs and squeezing her hand gently. "We were all so worried about you. You're welcome to stay here, with us," she told her warmly.

"You knew my name earlier...didn't you? I heard you...kind of..." she said, "I didn't even tell you my name." she turned to Jess and took the lemonade and gulped it down, "Thank you. she said finishing the rest of it.
