"Yeah well, we'll see in a week whether you'll feel better or not. If you do, well, there's lots of things to catch up on." Craig joked, winking and cuddling Liberty in his arms.

She smiled. "I hope I feel better. I'm sleeping my life away..." The one thing she was terrified of doing, sleeping through her life and her daughters life.

"Eh, tell me about it. I'm working my life away." Craig muttered, sighing. He too was terrified to miss anything, especially with his wife.

Liberty sighed, slowly sitting up. She leaned against the head board and let a tear fall down her cheek. "I'm sorry this happened."

"Wait, no....I didn't mean it like that. I uh, just meant that I know the feeling. I'm sorry." Craig said, sighing and wanting to kick himself for ruining the moment.

"That's not what it sounded like..." she sighed.

Craig went pale. Was he an idiot today? "Uh....Just, don't cry. It's not your fault for getting sick, really.."

She sighed, laying down, putting her head in his lap. "What if it is?"

"How? How is it possible that it's your fault?" Craig asked, wondering about the logic in that sentence.

she shook her head. "I don't know..." she was fighting against her sleepyness again. "Maybe I did something when I was younger."

Craig raised a brow once more, sighing. "Like what? Meet me?" he asked, sighing and rubbing his face.

She shook her head. "That will never be a bad thing in my life." she said.

"Then babe, nothing was done wrong. Just relax, let yourself sleep. I bet that going off those pills will help you lots." Craig said, nodding with a smile.

She nodded slightly. "I love you."

Craig stayed silent, but smiled. It had been a while since he last heard that. "Love you too." he muttered, leaning down and kissing her softly.

Liberty smiled, kissing him back. "Say that again." she missed him saying that.

Craig smiled, nodding. "I love you..." he said tenderly, kissing her once more.

She smiled. "Tell Charisma I love her." she said softly.

Craig nodded, smiling. "I will..." he muttered. "I'll be back later, ok? I'll close shop early." he said, leaving the room and going back downstairs. Yawning, he began working again, though he fought the exhaustion as hard as he could.

Charisma went down stairs and sat at the counter. "Daddy, you look tired. You're not getting sick too, are you?" She asked, concerned. "I don't know if Uncle Howard and I will be able to do everything without you."

Craig shook his head, yawning. "I'll just close shop early. We've earned enough. Your mother....She said she loved you." he smiled, putting up the Closed sign.

Charisma smiled. "I got an amazing idea! Will you help me with something?"

"Huh? Uh, sure. What is it?" Craig asked, smiling.

"We make a really big sign for Mommy telling her we love her and then we put it up on the wall so when she wakes up, she'll see it!" Charisma said, her smile really wide and using her arms to explain how big.
