Finally a home~ Private

Joshua sighed, nodding and chuckling as he went to the bedroom, putting the suitcase on the bed. "Aw man, this is nice." he whistled, taking off his shoes and hoping that the wood wasn't soaked from them as he took them off.

Marley smiled, taking a quick shower to wash the sweat and the make up off. She put on an old shirt and went to him, sitting on the bed. She took his left hand, playing with the rings there.

Joshua blinked and smiled, thinking she was just reminiscing. "What's up in that head of yours?" he asked, chuckling and watching as Marley messed around with the rings.

She looked up at him and smiled. "You don't even want to know." she said shaking her head. She chuckled and kissed his cheek. "Go take a shower. I'll be here when you get back."

Joshua sighed, nodding. "Ok, I'll be right back." he said, grabbing an extra shirt and his boxers. He then stood and went to the bathroom, taking a quick shower (a thorough one of course) and soon coming out, having put on a bit of deodorant. He then sat beside her, smiling. "Ok, so, what's the surprise?"

She smiled, sitting up and grabbing his left hand again, kissing his palm. "Did you know that my grandparents rings were engraved?" she asked, gently slipping off his rings then hers, showing him the engravings on her grandparents rings. eternally yours it read in cursive print.

Joshua chuckled, smiling warmly. He swore that tears almost came from his eyes. He remembered the two well, glad that they didn't suffer long. "Aw man....That's a sweet line to use on a ring engraving." he sighed, rubbing his eyes with his other hand and kissing her softly. "I'm eternally yours as well, Marley, always and for eternity."

She smiled, slowly slipping his ring off. "I had yours engraved also. Later, I'll get mine engraved also." she said softly, moving into his lap and turning the ring so that the engraving perfect fit was visible.

"Aw geez, you knock me off again. Why is it that you do the most romantic things and I get to do it the second time?" Joshua sighed, shaking his head and smiling as he saw the engraving. Perfect fit. Hell, it sounded nice. "Heh, thank you, my sweet baby." he said, kissing her cheek and cuddling her. "This time I'll engrave yours." he grinned.

"With what?" she asked, taking his hand and putting it softly on her belly. "What are you going to make it say? The same thing?"

"Something unique." Joshua smiled, rubbing her belly as well and chuckling. "It won't be bad or corny, ok? I promise." he grinned, nuzzling her neck. The rain only came onto the roof harder, making it even more peaceful.

She sighed happily, closing her eyes. "This is peaceful. I like it here." she said softly.

"Heh, how about when we're old and retire, we come back here?" Joshua suggested, chuckling and hugging her gently.

"I was hoping to get this as a summer home." she smiled, making him hold her tighter.

"Eh, maybe someday I can buy it off of Greg. I donno, but maybe." Joshua muttered, smiling. "So, now that we're all clean, wanna get into bed now? It's kinda late." he yawned.

She nodded, getting off of his lap and crawling under the blankets. "Sleep sounds amazing." she smiled.

Joshua nodded, rubbing his eyes and getting under the covers. Hugging Marley close, he closed his eyes. "Hm, night.." he mumbled.

"Good night my love." she smiled, turning onto her side so her back was against his chest, his arm over her waist. She took his hand, lacing her fingers through his.

Joshua nodded, taking a deep breath. "Hm, you too." he said, nuzzling her neck and falling asleep. Squeezing her hand before he fell asleep, he smiled. The morning came slowly, but it was a peaceful morning. Cloudy.

Marley came to a rude awakening when she woke up early and suddenly ran to the bathroom, throwing up. She sat on the floor and sighed, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand.

Joshua almost fell off the bed from the sudden rush to the bathroom. He coughed, rubbing his eyes furiously since his vision became blurred. "Baby, you ok?" he asked aloud as he stood from the bed and onto the cold wooden floor.

"Yeah..." she said, slowly getting up and rinsing her mouth out with the mouth wash that was next to the sink. She went back to him and wrapped her arms around his waist, holding herself close to him.

Joshua rubbed Marley's back, sighing. "I know, morning sickness sucks. I wish I could help you out." he muttered, chuckling weakly. He knew even just puking would take out some energy and make your head pound. "Want tylenol or something? Have a headache?"

"Am I allowed to take Tylenol?" she asked, looking up at him. She kept her arms around his waist, not wanting him to let go of her.

"Eh...We can check." Joshua said nervously. Even he wasn't sure. Going to the medicine cabinet in the bathroom he looked at the back of the bottle, sighing as he skimmed. "Yep, you can. Just don't overdose." he grinned, making a small joke as he took out one pill and handed it to her. "I'll get something to drink for you." he said as he kissed her head and headed to the kitchen.
