Werewolves and Humans: Together in Spirit

Fenrir knew the scent but bit back his tears as he moved the bush and revealed the skinned hide of a young pup wolf

Sam bit her lip, grimacing. "Oh, god..." she whispered, tears prickling at her eyes.

"Uhmmm." Fenrir tried to choke back the tears. "The tracks.....were are they going?"

She rubbed her eyes on her sleeve, forcing her tears not to come back. "Towards the lake," she murmured, following them quietly.

Fenrir spun the knife deftly in his hand then started off towards the lake.

Sam saw movement and froze, her hand still on her gun's holster. She wasn't sure what she saw, but whatever it was had stopped moving.

Fenrir looked at her then at the motion, slowly he made his way to it his knife in hand.

Sam followed him, silently pulling her gun out of it's holster.

As he approached he could smell it getting stronger and stronger, his own anger over the pups death clouding his mind.

There were two hunters, Sam could see them now. They were packing up their bags, putting Tupperware containers into them. From that distance, it looked red. Sam didn't want to think about what was in those containers.

Fenrir looked at Sam making sure she was there then he lowered himself and pounced onto one of the hunters but the hunter knocked the knife out of his hand.

Sam held the gun up to the other hunter, who backed up, his hands raised. "Hands on your head," she told him and stole a glance towards the other two to make sure Fenrir was okay.

Fenrir had a busted lip but was smiling, the other man was laying on his stomach with his arm twisted painfully by Fenrir.

Sam looked back at the hunter. "Stay still," she told him and started looking in his pockets for anymore weapons or anything illegal. She found three more knives and two guns, and tossed them on the ground (after checking the safety).

Fenrir smirked down at the one he was holding.
"Is it possible, for me to skin them like the pup?"

"We have to turn them into the police," she told him, pulling out her transmitter.

"Too bad the wolves didn't catch you first." Fenrir said with a growl, if he had known about them he would have attacked as a wolf and killed them on the spot.

Sam radioed the ranger station and reported what had happened, telling them their location.

Fenrir growled at them, "So we have to wait with these cum bags till it's time."

"I have handcuffs," she pointed out, pulling them off her belt. "We'll cuff them to a tree and make sure they can't get loose."

Fenrir smield, "I like that idea."

Sam nodded and led the two guys to a not-too-thick tree and sat them down, backs to the tree. She pulled their arms back and handcuffed their hands together, then found a rope of theirs and began wrapping the rope around them and the tree.

Fenrir smiled and walked towards sam, "I'm going home, i want to sleep this off."

Sam nodded. "Alright. Thanks for your help," she told him. "I have to keep looking for hunters, but I'll pay you back when I get back," she promised.

"Catching these guys was good enough for me." Fenrir said smilling at them as he walked away.
