Here We Go Again (Two Others, mkay? :D )

Justin spotted them and walked with Brittany towards them. He wondered how they'd react to her looking like she got ran over by a train.

Brittany saw her parents' breath fall out of their mouth as they saw her condition. "Guys, relax. I'm fine. Just a fight with Alora. She's fine too. This conversation's over now, so let's try to enjoy my birthday please?" She sat down and grimaced as her body wasn't much used to sitting up as straight as she was now...

Alora winced and shook her head. "No. I'm what everyone likes to call extremely dense. I always thought you thought of me as a sister or something. I didn't know. I mean, I had been with Justin for so long, I think I almost just didn' think of anyone else in that way. But now that I realize it, there are so many things I would've change, way before just now." she said, hoping he'd understand what she meant. She just kept thinking back to all those times on that trip they took all summer and how many guys she went out with. It must have just about killed him, when she had him right there and never really put much though into it.

Justin looked at her worriedly as she winced. "You okay," he asked softly.

Deryk sighed. "I'll say," he mumbled at her first sentence. He listened to her explination and looked at her. "What would you change? Tell the truth, please, don't spare me."

Brittany nodded slowly, gingerly letting herself sit back against the booth's seat. "Yeah, I'm fine... It's just a stitch in my side." She smirked, looking up at him with that mischievous gleam in her eyes.

Alora smiled a little. "Well, I know I wouldn't have left you hangin as many times as I had in the past. And when we went on that road trip, I wouldn't have dated all those guys. I probably would have gone straight for you" she said truthfully. She couldn't say she would have dumped Jusin or anything like that, because being with him was great and they had been together for so long. "And I probably wouldn't have minded as much when Justin went to break up with me"

Justin furrowed his eyebrows, not buying it.

Deryk listened, watching her facial expressions; he could always tell when she was telling the truth. "I'm sorry I didn't actually tell you sooner," he murmured. "Probably would have saved both of us some pain..."

Brittany took his hand in hers on the table, squeezing it. "I'm fine babe..."

Justin squeezed her hand back gently. "Alright," he said and smiled at her, then looked at the menu to see what he wanted.

Britt smiled at him then at her parents, letting them know that she was just fine as well before she flipped through her menu. She loved the fettucini alfredo, but she had yet to try the chicken parmesan. That'd be what she'd eat tonight.

Justin would get the chicken scampi, it sounded good.

[damn, now I'm starving! ><]

Brittany looked up as the waitress came to the table, an elderly woman who nearly dropped her pad of paper as she got look at Britt. "My word girl, did you get into a fight with a weight-lifter?" Brittany laughed. "No, just a fight with a friend... We both kinda misjudged eachother's strenghts but everything is good between us now..."

Justin chuckled. "I'm taking very good care of this girl, ma'am. She won't be getting into any more fights," he promised.

Britt smiled, kissing Justin's cheek as the waitress relaxed. "Well, that's all good and well then. And I caught word that it was your birthday today?" Brittany blushed, nodding slowly. "Uhm, yeah... 17." The waitress smiled before taking everyone's orders.

Alora smiled and nodded. "Probably. But now you know anyhow." She said with a slight shrug. she was afraid that he'd get angry or something when she told him what the whole fight was About. She didn't want their relationship to die when it had just barely began.

Justin smiled and told her what he wanted, and handed her his menu.

Her parents ordered as well, Brittany eyeing them suspiciously. They had something planned, and she wasn't much prepared for what that might have been.

Justin thought her parents were acting odd as well, like they had something planned. He had no idea what it was.

Brittany had already figured out what they were planning. What they'd already put into action. "They told the waitress that it was my birthday, which means I have about five minutes before they bring out the whole staff clapping to get people to sing happy birthday... Justin, I beg of you for my social sanity not to sing. At least, not right now. You can sing later..."

Justin grinned and chuckled. "Alright, I'll sing later," he promised.

Brittany smiled and kissed him softly. "Thanks baby..." She sat back in her seatm the stitches stretching a tad but nothing to be worried over.

He nodded and squeezed her hand gently. "Thanks for telling me the truth," he smiled. "So, what do you want to do now? You hungry," he asked with a grin.

"A bit" she admitted. She hadn't eaten since that tastey pretzel, which was hours ago. She squeezed his hand back and thought of how the next week, or even the next day, would go.
