Holly and I Only!!!

He nodded and continued to hold her.

"Maybe if you can see the vision again you can see what's wrong..." She mumbled softly. She was having a hard time staying awake now.

"I'll see," he murmured, holding her close.

She nodded, clinging to him. "Please don't let me go..." she whispered.

"I will never let you go," he swore from the bottom of his heart, holding her tighter.

She nodded, feeling safe in his arms. She fell asleep though didn't have the vision again.

He stayed up with her until he passed out, still holding her like he promised.

She stayed asleep for a while, not waking up until hours later.

He was still asleep when she woke up, dreaming of nothing.

Slowly, trying not to wake him, Lilli slipped out of his arms, into some clothes and then down to the kitchen. Luckly, Baily and Fairly ate food so there was some good ice cream in the freezer. Taking a whole tub, she went to the library, pulled out a book and sat with a blanket over her lap, a book in her hands and ice cream beside her.

Ryder woke up sometime later and panicked, following her scent. "There you are," he sighed in relief, finding her in the library. "You alright?"

She looked up at him, a small smile on her face. "Yes. I am... I just needed to be in a different world for a little while." She said, showing him the book.

"You scared me," he chided her gently, kissing her softly. "I told you I'd never let you go and you go slinking off while I'm asleep," he chuckled.

She kissed him again. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I just didn't want to wake you."

"It's alright, love," he kissed her softly, caressing her cheek. "I know you are safe now. How is your book? What is it about," he asked, sitting down with her.

"It's one of your normal romance books." she shrugged, moving the ice cream that was already half gone.

"May I read with you," he asked, wrapping himself around her so she was sitting between his legs with his arms around her.

She nodded, getting comfortable in his embrace. "I would love it." she said softly.

He kissed her cheek softly and read the open book as he held her.

She wasn't really reading, not any more. "Maybe what I had was a dream..." she said, shifting slightly to look up at him. "You think?"

He nodded. "It could have been," he agreed, resting his cheek on her hair. "But I think it is better to be safe than sorry. I think we should still talk with Gideon."

She nodded, closing the book and turning onto her side slightly and rested her head on his shoulder. "If you think that's best."

He held her close, nuzzling her gently.

"Have you told anyone about the vision I had last night?" she asked. She didn't want anyone but him to know.

"No, I haven't," he told her.
