"I am not a sex slave!" Kimberly cried, deeply offended. He was acting as if Damien was some wild animal, constantly tearing her clothes off and ravishing her. He was always gentle with her, and always making sure that she wanted to be with him. This had been the first time that they had done anything like that.

Kimberly sighed softly. All of this fighting wasn't going anywhere, and it was pointless. She had no right critisizing how Adam and Jean showed their love for one another, just like Adam had no right critisizing how Kimberly and Damien showed their love. "Why," she asked softly, "Did you want to show me that Damien is a vampire?"

"And why is that?" Kimberly asked. Was he one of those conspiracy theorists and or vampire hunters? She never could understand how people could take those kind of things seriously.

Kimberly sighed softly. Was everyone here some sort of mythical creature that wasn't supposed to exist. "I see." she said softly, and then glanced over to Jean. "Are you also some mythical creature? Which is it? Vampire? Werewolf? Unicorn?"

Jean raised a brow, "How in the hell could I be a unicorn?"

Damien hissed at Adam and stood and crouched into defence.

Jean gasped and then blushed softly as his tail gently tickled her leg, and very briefly wrapped around her thigh. She looked back over to Damien, and then sighed. "Calm down, Damien." she said, brushing some of her short red hair out of her eyes. "He's no threat to us." she answered, and then flashed her fangs.

Damien got out of his defense mode and took refuge in Kim's lap.

" So what are you Kim? Did he make you a vampire?" Adam asked as he nuzzled Jean.

"I'm human." Kimberly answered. She wasn't sure if she would stay that way forever. Sighing softly, she looked gently at all of the people in the room. "None of you are human." she murmured softly.

"Being a human isn't so bad.." Kimberly murmured softly, burying her face against Damien's shoulder. "It's kind of nice." she whispered, and then softly looked up at them once more. "Were you all born like this?" She looked questioningly at Jean.

"My father was a vampire." Jean answered softly.

She would never think of him as the black sheep. He would be seen as the man that she was in love with.

Kimberly was quiet for a few minutes, unsure of what to say. This was all very overwhelming with her to deal with at once. It felt as if everything she had known before was a lie. Fiction was fact and fact was fiction.
