Jean groaned softly, and buried her face against the pillow. Her stomache was bothering her. Soon she would wake up and go throw up in the bathroom.

Within a few minutes, Jean was awake, her hand cupped over her mouth. She barely acknowledged Adam as she got up and ran to the bathroom to throw up. Even her mother could hear here.

Jean sighed softly as she went over to the sink to brush her teeth. Maybe she should go and see the doctor. At least then there was the chance of getting the proper medicine. She didn't want to be sick like this for the rest of the summer.

Jean would set up an appointment later, after she had relaxed. She still wanted to believe that it was just a bug that would go away soon. Tomorrow if she was still feeling this way, she would make the call.

Jean had moved down to the kitchen by now. Perhaps something to eat would help her. She grabbed an orange from the fruit ball on the kitchen table. For some reason, the color alone set her off, and she was back up the stairs and in the bathroom.

He tilted his head and went to go see Ruby and tell her what is wrong with Jean.

There was an obvious answer, although to be totally sure of it, she would have to ask Adam if he and Jean were active or not. Something that she did not partcularly want to know. Especially because by now the answer she might decide to castrate Adam.

Adam respected Ruby. He never was rude to her at all. Heck he even sent flowers to her for mother's day. " Ruby...Jean hasn't gotten better.."

If he had trully respected her, then he would have followed her rules. Something that he had not done. Ruby looked up at the ceiling, never turning to look at him. "I know." It was just a simple state. She knew.

Ruby sighed softly. "I really don't think it's the flu." she said, her voice barely above a whisper. She had taken care of Jean for all of Jean's life. By now she knew what Jean looked like when she had the flu. Her daughter did not have the flu.

Ruby shrugged her shoulders. "A child, maybe." she answered softly. Ruby never liked to assume things. But, well, she had been pregnant. And she had seen what her daughter looked like when she was sick.

"She could have always forgotten to take it." Ruby whispered. It only took one time to miss the pill to get pregnant. Not to mention that forgetting it even once ruined the whole scheduele. Thus making the pill virtually useless.

Well, now she knew that her daughter was sexually active. She would have liked nothing more then to guage his eyes out. "Are you sure?" she asked. "There was never any spontaneous.. you know?" You were supposed to take the pill at the same time everyday.

Jean's scheduele was to take it at ten thirty after brushing her teeth. She had arrived at the barn with Adam at ten o'clock on that particular night.

"Later." Ruby agreed. "Right now what matters is whether or not my assumption is correct. We'll need to take her to the gynacologist so that it can be confirmed." she muttered, burying her face against her hands.
