He took a sip from the cup and looked at the coffee's surface thinking pensively.

As Jean showered, she rested her hands on her belly. To think that inside a baby was growing. She had been nervous when she had first found out, and she was nervous still. Yet, somehow, she was also sure.

Adam sighed gently, he was the father of her baby. He ran his finger along the rim of the mug. He was so afraid yet he knew push come to shove he was going to be by her side and he was going to make sure she was not afraid like he was.

She thought quietly to herself what could have been the night that she had concieved. After doing the math correctly, she realized that it had been that night in the barn hay loft when they had reconciled with one another and had admited their undying love.

Adam yawned softly and got up and pulled out his cell and called Kim.

Kimberly and Damien had been relaxing together in bed after a partcularly passionate night of love making. She had been tracing lazy circles on his chest when her cellphone went off. Sighing softly, she got up from bed, and grabbed her robe. Shuffling over to the dresser, she picked up her cellphone and answered. "Hello?"

Damien sighed when her phone went off. He sat up reaching for his boxers.

" Hey...Kim...I'm sorry if this is a bit short noticed" Adam said.

"What is it, Adam?" she asked, trying her best to hide the slight annoyance that she felt. She had been feeling very mellow, and lovey. It had almost been one of those days where neither her or Damien got up from bed, but instead just laid there, enjoying one another's company.

"No, no, Adam, I'm sorry." Kimberly said, yawning softly. "You just caught me a few minutes after I woke up, and I'm a little cranky. Go ahead and talk, I just need to make myself a cup of coffee." She couldn't stand to leave people when they needed help.

"About what?" she asked, yawning softly, and walking through the small apartment to get to the kitchen. After they had married, despite Carmella and Darrick still offering them a home, they had decided to move out on live on their own. For the time being, all they could afford was an apartment. Though, she knew that eventually they would be able to afford a nice house.

" You know bout Jean and me right..the whole....thing right. Well I just wanna talk bout it is all. I mean...what if you and Damien were in the same situation" he asked.

Damien yawned stretching out on the bed and then getting up to dress in lounging clothes.

"Well, me and Damien are married." Kimberly said softly. "If I was pregnant, there wouldn't be any trouble. But if we weren't married and I had gotten pregnant, I guess Damien would have taken responsibility and proposed to me. He would either have married before the baby was born, or shortly after."

Damien gave long yawn and stretched out lazily on thier bed. He loved lazy days with his wife. Damien smiled rolling over onto his belly and pulled out a picture of thier wedding. He couldn't believe it. But he was married. He looked at his ring on his finger and got up and stretched once more and went down into thier living room to watch some tv.

"Well, I'm not telling you to. That's just probably what Damien would do. The very best thing in anyone's case, is to stay with her. You both made this baby, and you need to stay together. And, just so you know, I would kick your ass if you left her."

"Well, like I said, the best thing to do with her is to stay with her. In Jean's case, it really probably is best that you just do that for now. Proposing right away might freak out out."

" Just stay with her and show her that no matter what I'm gonna be with her. Then after the baby is born and everything is calm pop the question." he said gently.

"I'm not saying to marry her." Kimberly said for the second time. "That is what Damien would do if he isn't the situation. You're not Adam. You're you. Stay with Jean through the pregnancy, and then after the baby is born, if you want to marry her, marry her. But if you don't want to marry her, then don't." Marrying someone out of pity was just plain cruel.

"You make sure of that." Kimberly said seriously. "The cruelest thing that a man could ever do if marry a woman out of pity." Although, she had to admit that she wasn't too afraid of Adam marrying Jean out of pity. It was obvious he was crazy for her.

" I dunno. There isn't really much I can do at them moment. I was thinking of asking her out on a little date tonight. Dinner and maybe a movie. Get her mind off the pregnancy for a night and just enjoy the night out as a couple." Adam said playing with his hair. " I think she'll like it.. Maybe afterwards we could take a nice hot bath together and relax. Just something to make her feel good, refreshed, and happy."
