It's a Love Story

Things were slow but they finally made it home with Lilli freaking out, trying to help everyone of them and trying to be strong at the same time. It wasn't working and she was about to break down.

Mike had tried to calm Lilli down but failed, just holding her was the only thing he was able to think up.

One Lilli had done everything she was able to do, she sat in Mike's arms. "they all almost died..." she whispered.

"They didn't, baby. They're alright," he kissed her forehead. "They'll be at the hospital soon. We'll meet them there, okay?"

She nodded, sighing and letting her husband comfort her. It was helping a little.

Mike kissed her softly. "Go get your shower and get dressed. We'll head over there when you're ready, love."

She nodded. "Come with me?" she asked. "don't let go of me."

"Of course, love," he kissed her and went to their bedroom with her.

Once they were at the hospital, Lilli was handed paper work that she had to do before she could see her kids. She got angry and started yelling at the lady behind the counter.

"Lilli," Mike pulled her back. "She's doing her job," he told her gently. "We'll see them soon, just wait and I'll fill out the paperwork, okay? It won't be long, love."

"But they're down the hall..." she said, sighing and going over to one of the chairs and sitting down.

Mike apologized to the lady behind the counter and took the papers and a pen, filling them out as quickly and accurately as he could. He handed her the papers and took the visitor passes, thanking the lady and handing Lilli her pass. "We can see them now, love," he told her gently.

Lilli nodded. Lunkily, all the kids were in one room and she wouldn't have to go one at a time.

Mike walked into the room with his wife. All six of them were wearing hospital gowns. Rose was sitting by Aiden's bed, holding his hand. "Mom, Dad," Rose said getting up and hugging them both tightly.

Lilli held onto her oldest tightly but not tight enough to hurt her. She broke down right here into her daughter's shoulder.

Jon was sleeping, having been put out so the doctors could fix his head better and Roman had climbed into the bed with Dante, awake but just barley.

Rose cried, too, finally feeling safe after the whole incident.

"Daddy?" Roman mumbled from across the room.

Mike went to his youngest. "I'm here, sweetheart," he whispered, kissing her forehead. "How are you feeling, honey?"

"I'm not sure." she said softly. "I thought that I had died."

"No, sweetie, you're not dead," he kissed her forehead again.

"I know. But I thought I was." she said softly. "I love you, Daddy."

"I love you, too, baby," he stroked her hair.

"They told us to stay in bed. Does it still count if I'm in his bed and not mine?" She asked.

Mike chuckled gently. "No, sweetheart. You can stay in Dante's bed. Just don't get your IV's mixed up or the doctors will get cranky."

She nodded. "I love him, Daddy." she said softly.
