It's a Love Story

"You don't have to tell me," he murmured softly, not wanting her to get upset by him prying. He'd better stop while he's ahead.

"no, it's okay. I don't mind talking about Pavo. It's better to remember him by talking about him than to lock him and the feelings away." she said, keeping her hand in his.

[this is my last post before work. i'll be back at 10:45ish tonight. i'll try to stay up to wait for you but it's not likely. i have class tomorrow]

He nodded and looked at her. "You're right. Please, continue," he said, letting her know he'd listen if she wanted to talk about his brother.

((Alright.))

She stayed silent for a moment and then sighed. "I'm falling for you..." she whispered.

He stared at her for a moment and hugged her close. "I do not know if being together would upset my brother's spirit or not," he whispered. "He won't talk to me. He speaks to you. I don't wish to upset the dead, let alone my own twin."

Roman burried her face in Dante's shoulder. "I don't think Pavo is that selfish." She said softly.

"He is not," he agreed softly. "But he loves you. Love changes people."

"I suppose you're right." she said softly, her head still resting on his shoulder.

He rested his cheek on her hair, holding her. It felt good to hold her like this. She smelled nice, too.

She sighed and lifted her head. "Is the water here warm, or cold?" she asked, wanting to be happy.

"Warm," he smiled softly at her and took off his shirt, offering her his hand. "Let's go swimming and you'll see."

She smiled and took her clothes off, just being in her bathing suit. "Alright."

He smiled and walked into the waves with her.

Roman smiled. "This is awesome!" She laughed, splashing him.

Dante laughed, running to jump into the water to dodge her splashes. He grinned and body-surfed back to her, splashing her while the wave hit her.

Roman laughed and splashed him, running away from him. Eventually he grabbed her and they fell into the water. She found herself sanding with her arms around his neck, really wanting to kiss him.

He laughed happily, holding her to his body so she didn't get lost by the waves.

She smiled and leaned in, kissing his cheek. She knew she would be okay if she fell in love with him and she knew Pavo would be also. Dante just needed to know that.

He smiled and kissed her cheek, not wanting to press anything by kissing her lips. He wanted her to let him know if she was ready for that.

She smiled, nuzzling into his neck.

He held her close, liking how her body fit so easily with his, how her head fit so naturally against his neck. He held her protectively, silently promising to never let anything hurt her.

Jon woke up, going down to find that food was already laid out. He smiled but didn't know if he could just take what he wanted so he sat in one of the chairs, waiting for everyone else to wake up.

Dante's mom was in the kitchen, washing her dishes, as well as Dante's and Roman's. "Good morning," she said in her heavily accented english.

Jon smiled at her, getting up and helping her dry the dishes. "Good morning." he replied.

"How did you sleep?"
