Ryder peeked his head in and checked on her. "Finally awake," he chuckled softly.

She smiled slightly. "what time is it?" she asked.

"Ten at night," he told her softly. "Are you hungry?"

"Starving." she said, getting out of the bed.

"Let's get you breakfast," he smiled.

"Wouldn't it be dinner?" she teased. "Do you even have food for me here?"

"Yes, my mother and aunt have to eat human food," he chuckled.

"They do?" she asked. "I thought you were all vampires."

"No, they're still human," he shook his head. "They drink vampire blood to keep them young, and also... It's also a bit of a sexual thing, so I hear. Mates are known to get lost in the throws of passion and lust. But they're still human."

"Getting lost in passion sounds like it would be an amazing thing." she thought, forgetting that Ryder read minds. "Oh. So what kind of food do you have?"

"Whatever mom and aunt Fairly feel like eating. Mostly pizza," he chuckled. "And strawberries."

"Is it good pizza?" she asked, smiling.

"My mom seems to think so," he chuckled.

"Have you tried human food?" she asked.

"I used to eat it all the time. It's needed for development and growth. But when a Breed male, or female, in Olivia's case, reaches maturity, we no longer need it. Our taste for it dissolves."

"So, your cousin is the only female vampire?" she asked.

"Yes," Ryder nodded.

She nodded. "Why isn't there more?"

"I don't know. That's just how it is," he shrugged.

Well, aren't you just full of imformation... she thought as she nodded. "alright. So where's the food." she said outloud.

He rolled his eyes, hearing the thought. "In the kitchen, where else would it be," he teased, leading her to the kitchen.

"Well, where's the kitchen?" she smirked, following him.

"That's where we're going," he chuckled. They arrived soon and he went to the freezer. "What kind of pizza do you like?"

"What kind do you have?" she asked, going behind him. "I'd look over his shoulder and look for myself if he wasn't so tall..." She thought. "But it's such a handsome tall... I wouldn't mind being his breed wife, mate, thing....

"Every kind," he moved so she could see into the freezer.
