Holly and I Only!!!

Fairly had gone to bed hours ago, knowing she had school but thankfully no work.

Baily though, had stayed close to Damon. She had her hand laid down by the hand she held.

Damon looked down at Baily. He could sense her, feel her presence in his veins. Had he drunken her blood? Had she drunken his? He gently slipped his hand out of hers and got down off of the bed, gently lifting her and carrying her to her bed.

Feeling that she was being carried, Baily opened her eyes and looked at him. "Damon?" she asked, a little confused.

"Did I drink your blood," he asked her softly.

She nodded. "You needed it in order to live." she said. "I didn't want you to die."

"I'm bonded to you now. By Breed law, you are my mate," he told her, laying her down in her bed. "You're sure you're alright with that," he asked her gently.

She was silent for a moment before taking a breath and nodded. "Not much I can do about it now, is there?"

"Do you still want to stay here, at the compound, or do you want to go to a Darkhaven?"

"What is that?" she asked. "Sounds scary."

"It's not - It's a safe haven for Breedmates and Breed males. They all live and work together in a small city that's protected from Rogues and Minions."

"Where is it? Can Fairly come?" she asked.

"It's just west of Boston. Fairly can go, too," he nodded.

"But what about school?" She asked, slowly starting to sit up.

"You won't have to go to school. You can find a job in whatever you want in the Darkhaven - they'll teach you all that you need to know. Everyone is guaranteed a job."

She didn't want to go and one didn't have to be connected to her to know that. "I don't want to. I like school. Can't we stay here?"

He nodded. "I'm just letting you know you have options if you ever change your mind," he told her gently.

She nodded. "Alright. I want to stay here. I know it isn't as safe as the other place, but, my life is here."

He nodded in understanding. "I will protect you," he murmured his promise.

She nodded and laid down again. "So, you really feel what I'm feeling?" she asked.

He nodded. "Yes, I do."

She smiled. "what am I feeling?" She asked, she was tired, hungry, but happy. She really liked him, perhaps a bit to much for only a few days of knowing him. She wanted to know how far down into her he could feel.

He chuckled. "You're hungry and tired. And happy. You're comfortable around me. Very much so."

She blushed slightly and nodded. "Do you have to try to feel or do you just, feel it?"

"I just feel it," he said, smiling a bit at her curiosity.

"And, to feel what you're feeling, I'd have to drink your blood?" she asked.
