Fairly shrugged. "A job's a job. I work at Jomba Juice."

"You want some air? We could get out of here." she said.

"Is it weird that I like killing those nasty things," he wrinkled his nose. He could be talking about any pest.

"If you want to, sure," he smiled at her.

Fairly narrowed her eyes. "Depends on what nasty things you're talking about."

Baily nodded and got off her stool, grabbing her bag that was at their feet. She went to Fairly and kissed her cheek. "I'm leaving. Be good." she said.

"Alrighty." Fairly said, smiling.

Smiling, Baily took Damon's hand. "Let's go."

"Leeches, mostly," he told her. It wasn't really a lie. Rogues were leeches, to an extent.

"See you, Niko," Damon chuckled as they passed the couple.

"Later, man," he replied and turned his attention back to the breedmate.

She looked confused. "there's leeches in this town?" she asked.

Baily smiled. "you know him?"

"In the sewers and in the parks, mostly. They're only out at night, really."

"He's like my brother," Damon smiled. "We've been living together practically our whole lives."

she nodded. "that's a little weird. I'm not gonna lie."

She smiled. "sounds good. The girl he was with and I are like that."

He shrugged, pretending to sip from his beer. "Passes time, at any rate."

"Cool," he smiled.

"I guess." she shrugged, sipping her drink.

She nodded, moving her hair from around her shoulders to one side of her neck. In the moonlight, one was able to see a birthmark on the side of her neck.

Damon noticed her birthmark and cursed mentally. She's a Breedmate, too? I doubt either of them know what they are... Otherwise they wouldn't be out here without protection.

"What do you do for fun," Niko asked her.

Baily smiled slightly, looking over at him. "What's wrong?"

"Pretty much this. I'm a student, so I'm usually busy." She said softly.

"Nothing," he smiled. "Just thought I smelled something bad. Did you smell it? It was there for a second..."

He chuckled. "Sounds kind of boring," he looked at her.

She sniffed and shook her head. "I don't smell anything."

"It usually is. But it's getting me closer to what I want to do so it's okay." she shrugged.

He shrugged and looked around, and was then startled by a Rogue jumping off of the roof next to him and practically pounced on a female entering the club. Damon cursed and dragged the vampire off the girl, throwing him about fifteen feet away, standing protectively in front of the humans. There wasn't much he could do with all the humans watching. He could always mind-scrub them, but he didn't have time to see who whitnesed. The Rogue hissed and ran off down the street. Damnit! he cursed mentally, wanting to go finish it off.

Niko nodded and pretneded to take another swallow of his bottled drink.

Baily had screamed and taken a few steps away, her hands covering her mouth.

Fairly heard the scream and just as the door closed, saw her friend scared. Getting up and went outside and to her friend. "What happened!" She demanded and Baily only clung to her.

Damon looked to the two Breedmates. "It's alright," he told them gently. "You're safe."

Niko followed Fairly close at her heels, looking at his brother-in-arms. "What's going on?" He understood with the look Damon gave him and cursed.

Fairly held onto Baily, comforting her. "Will one of you tell me what's going one?"

"Come with us. We'll explain, I promise," Damon said, looking the woman in the eye to show her he meant it. "You'll be safe and protected."

Fairly nodded. "Alright. I've got a tazer just so you know in case you do anything you shouldn't."

"You won't need to use it," he promised. "I'll be right back with my van. Niko, can you wait here with them."

The warrior nodded, his eyes peeled for signs of any other dangers as he stood protectively in front of the two breedmates. He was in full warrior mode: deadly serious and stone cold when he needed to be.

Damon ran off to the van, driving up and idling at the sidewalk.

Niko escorted the ladies to the van, opening the door for them and climbing in after them as Damon pulled away from the curb and drove to the mansion that rested five hundred feet above their headquarters. Getting out of the van, the two warriors brought the girls inside and down the elevator, taking them to a sort of board room.

Baily shook her head and went to Damon. "Who was that you threw against the wall?" she asked.

"You might not believe it, but he was Rogue. A vampire," Damon answered her. "He was mad from Bloodlust."

"What do you thin, i'm stupid?" she asked.

"I told you that you might not believe it," he said gently. "You didn't see his fangs? Hear his hiss? How would he have been able to drop from the top of the club without a scratch?"

"I barley saw anything." she said "I'm not stupid, vampires don't exist."
