"I noticed," she chuckled, a little wore out herself.

" you should rest" he said.

"Kay," she nuzzled him and went to put Ralph in his bed before she went to go to her own bed, falling asleep within minutes.

Jake knew there was no threat but a tired werewolf was a endangered werewolf. He certainly remembered the early days of Ralph's infancy where both of them hardly got any sleep. But now since Ralph could walk and think more higher thoughts Ralph was more mischivious and it didn't help that he had alot of his genes from his father.


Jake thought back to when she had been pregnant. It was such a shock.

Nessie sighed and grumbled, looking out the back window of the living room. "Moooooom, I'm bored....."

Bella sighed from the kitchen, where she was making her daughter lunch. "Nessie, sweetie, you said that ten minutes ago, and ten minutes before that, three before that... Cody will be back in a few months. Find something to do until then."

"But there's nothing to do," she whined. "It's raining outside. As usual... Can't we go someplace sunny?"

"You know we can't do that," she said gently.

Cody sighed as he sat on his bed in the suit they were staying in for the months ahead. He knew his parents loved it here and it was the perfect place for them but his place was with Nessie. He rolled on his belly and then texted Nessie.

I miss you.

Nessie heard her phone ringer indicate that she had a new text. Pulled out her cell phone from her pocket and laid back on her back, answering.

I miss you, too. It's so boring here without you. Hurry and come home already

He got the text and sighed.


I wish I could. I would be there if I could. Mom and Dad are enjoying this together. I gotta pacify them. I send you all the hugs in the world.

She read the text and thought for a minute before replying.

I send hugs back. Lots and lots of them. Don't make yourself too miserable. Take pictures while you're there, paint, or something. it should help pass the time.

He chuckled and texted back.


I'm tying the best I can. I think it be alot better if you were here with me.

She blushed brightly and bit her lip, wanting to look away shyly. Though she really had no reason to, since he wasn't physically there. She smiled shyly and replied.

Cody burried his head under a pillow and looked at the text blushing. He was acting so stupid!

Nessie resisted the urge to bury her face into the couch as she felt her family's eyes on her.

Nessie got up off the couch and shook her head, her face red, and went upstairs to her dad's old room.

" What is up with her" Edward blinked.

Bella chuckled. "She's liked Cody for quite a while. What do you think," she asked him quietly.
