Leah laid down next to him and whimpered softly, too, from the pain in her nose and she could feel the pain he was feeling through their mental connection.

Jake closed his eyes going unconsious.

Leah whined and nudged him. Edward, get Carlisle, she started to panic.

Edward nodded and ran and got him.



Hours later Jake was laying in a bed covered in casts and bandages.

Leah was holding their baby as he laid in the bed, bandages and a cast covering her nose.

Ralph was happy again. He was back in his very warm nook of his mother's arm where he loved to be at.He kept reaching for her nose cast, fascinated.

Leah kissed his hand every time he did. "No, no, sweetie. It hurts Mommy," she said gently, waving his little hand.

He yawned at her and stretched his little feet out and cuddled his baby blanket.

She smiled and kissed his forehead, making sure he was nice and warm and comfortable. "Mommy loves you so much," she murmured softly, rocking him gently.

His little hand reached up and touched her cheek and cooed softly at her and smiled.


" ......he................ok?" Jake said softly. It was hard to speak when he had broken ribs and was wrapped up tight.

She smiled lovingly at her baby boy and kissed his forehead again, her hand covering his little one. She looked up at Jake and nodded. "He's okay," she said gently, kissing his cheek. "Everybody's fine. I just have a broken nose. You need more paid medicine," she asked him.

Jake swallowed with difficulty, "...yes"

She kissed him softly and got up to get Carlisle. "Carlisle, he's awake. He wants more pain medicine," she said gently.

" I kinda figureed he would. " he came in and changed IV bags and soon Jake wasable to deal with the pain.

Leah nodded and sat back in her chair, gently holding her mate's hand.

Jake couldn't hold hers because it was broken. Ralph muued at him and gurlged.


Jake smiled softly," ............hey...........son"

Leah stroked Jake's hand gently with her thumb. "Don't push yourself too hard," she told him softly. "You need rest to heal." She nuzzled their baby boy, worried about Jake.

Jake closed his eyes.



Bryan was sitting in the study alone as he sang softly to calm himself.

Alex held Cody close to her in her arms, watching Alice pace around as she tried to figure out why she saw them coming in two weeks and not then.

Cody yawned and rubbed his eyes.

Alex kissed her boys head, rocking back and forth gently. She was still worried, even though she knew Aro was gone. It probably had something to do with Alice muttering that she couldn't trust her visions anymore.

Cody whimperd softly and whinned at Alice.

Alice sighed and stopped muttering but kept pacing. Alex wondered where Bryan was.

Edward was playing some music to calm everyone down and Bryan was picking a fight with him telling him his taste in music was so old hat.

" Chicago gangster" bryan said.

" Communist" Edward said.

" american idiot!" bryan said.

" Red flag!" Edward said

" Nation governed by the media!" Bryan said.

Alex and Bella frowned. "You two aren't helping anything," they snapped.
