It's a Love Story

He chuckled. "Okay," he gave her one last kiss before he went back to brushing the horse.

She smiled and stood back to watch him.

He finished brushing the horse and finished with the other horses, putting the brush away when he was done. "Sorry for the wait," he smiled. "Ready to head back to the house, or do you wanna ride Splatter a little?"

"As much as I want you..." she put her hand on her shoulder. "I don't think I'm up to it."

"Oh, sorry," he smiled sheepishly. He hadn't thought about that. "Alright, well we can go finish getting ready and head over to the convention center to meet my folks."

She nodded. "What's the atire? Should I put on a skirt?" She asked. She was only wearing jeans and a jacket. She didn't want to meet his family in only that.

He smiled at her. "Whatever's comfortable is fine. No one around here really cares how others look - it's what's inside that counts. We're normally covered in mud or dirt anyway," he chuckled.

She smirked. "MMh... Sexy..." She chuckled then shrugged. "I like to dress up nice, I bought the outfit specifically for this trip and I'd like to use it."

He smiled. "Well, then, go ahead and wear it," he kissed her softly.

"i think I will." she smiled then kissed him again.

He smiled and kissed her back, chuckling softly.

She smiled. "I guess we should go in. You know us girls, takes us forever to get ready."

"I guess," he smiled and took her hand, kissing her once more before he walked inside with her, closing the door behind them.

"It is so cold..." she smiled, turning into his embrace. The temperature was the main reason she wanted to go in.

He rubbed her back to help warm her up a bit. After a few minutes, her mom told everyone that they'd be leaving in about an hour. "Will it take you that long," he asked, teasing her.

"I don't know... It'll be kind of tight..." she smiled then kissed his lips softly. "I'll be ready quickly. Promise."

He smiled, kissing her back softly. "We're not leaving without you. No rush."

She shrugged. "That's okay." she said and kissed him again. She left to go change and put on her dress and did her hair nicely, putting on some make up. Though, she had trouble with her necklace. She went to mike, holding her necklace. "Mike... I can't get this on..."

He smiled, getting up off the couch to help her. "You look very cute," he kissed her cheek and put her necklace on.

She smiled. "I thought that it was adorable. I just had to get it."

He smiled. "I like it. You ready to go," he asked, kissing her softly.

She nodded, kissing him back. "where's your sister?I've got an early birthday presant for her."

"Probably in her bedroom. I'll go get her," he smiled. He went to get Cassie and came back out with her on his back. Cassie grinned when she saw her.

Lilli smiled, pulling a box out of her purse with a pretty little bow on top of it. "I thought that you and I could start Christmas early. Besides, it's a tradition in my family to open one present on Christmas Eve." She said, handing the box to Cassie. A necklace was inside it. The same one that Lilli was wearing.

Cassie opened her eyes wide, getting down off of her brother's back. "Really? Momma, can I open it," she asked.

Michelle smiled and nodded. "Go ahead, sweetie." Cassie smiled and hugged Lilli. "Thank you," she said and took the box and opened it. "Oohhhh, it's so pretty!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you," she smiled, hugging Lilli.
