It's a Love Story

He smiled back at her. "I see. It looks like a fine day to me," he said optimistically.

"That's because you come from Missouri. You've got clean air there." she smiled.

He chuckled. "Well, clean air is healthy air. Maybe you should come visit me," he nudged her gently, teasing.

"We'll see how your time here goes." she said, smiling. "Then maybe we'll plan for Christmas."

He chuckled. "Fair enough," he agreed.

She smiled and walked out of the elevator and onto the deck. "See? told you you'd love it up here." she said, letting her hand slip out of his and going to the edge.

He followed her, looking around curiously at the view. "It's amazing," he agreed, his expression pure awe.

She smiled. "Would it be wrong if I took pictures?" she asked. She had a rather good camera with her and loved pictures.

He chuckled. "I don't mind. Click away," he grinned.

Her smile brightened and she pulled out her camera, getting close to him and taking a picture of them both smiling. She looked back at it and smiled. "That's definitely a keeper." She said, turning the camera to show him.

He smiled, seeing it. "You look so cute."

She smiled, looking at it again before turning it off and putting the camera away. "It took a lot of effort to look this good this morning. I was so nervous this morning..."

"To be honest, I was a bit nervous, myself," he admitted with a smile. "But you didn't have to put that much effort in for me."

"I think it did." she smiled, going back to the rail and leaning way over.

"Careful," he said, going to her side, ready to catch her if she fell.

"I'm not going to fall..." she said, smiling. "But at least I know you're going to catch me if I do."

"Well, of course," he smiled. "But you're makin' me nervous, doin't that."

She smiled, getting off the rail. "Alright... Since it's our first real date, I won't risk my life..."

"You're plannin' on riskin' your life after this? I'm gonna have my hands full with you, aren't I," he laughed.

"I don't think you really understand how much of a handful I am." she said, smirking at him.

"Really, now? Just how much of a handful are you? Just so I know in advance, of course," he teased.

She smiled. "Mikey, sweetie, what I show you on the computer in only a little of what I really am. I mean... there's only so much you can show on the internet. You'll find out." she said, taking his hand again. "come on, lets go to the park. We can walk around and talk."

He chuckled. "Alright. I can handle a park," he grinned.

She smiled, taking his hand again and going to the elevator. "I never asked you how your plane ride was."

"It was.... differ'nt. A lot differ'nt than riding horses."
