Chad managed to get himself back in his wheelchair, being as quiet as he could, and wheeled himself to his daughter's bedside. He kissed her forehead and wheeled off to go make breakfast, if he could. He wanted to help out as much as he could.

Jamie was jsut comming out of the shower when she saw him wheel himself to the kitchen.

He got a bowl and cereal, pouring it into the bowl and grabbing the milk. He wouldn't have been able to make pancakes if he tried, so he'd get his own food, maybe Jamie's and Hope's when she got up.

"Oh Gosh, Chad, I'm sorry...I shoulda made your something to eat before I got in the shower, I didn't know how long you were gonna be asleep." she said embarrassed "I'm a bad nurse ><"

He chuckled. "It's okay, really. I wanna try to do some things for myself so you're not stressing too much. We've got enough stress," he said gently. "I can make Hope's breakfast, too. Unless she wants pancakes," he chuckled.

"No, she usually wants waffles." she said gently and kissed him. "I'm really nervous, I haven't said a word to them since I got here." she admitted.

"It'll be fine," he kissed her back softly. "I'll be right here with you. Not that you need me here, you're so strong," he smiled softly.

"No...I bawled like a baby a lot....but I had to grow up and be the parent...." she sighed. "I didn't get to live through my teenage years and be strong like other people, I was too busy being a mother."

He kissed her. "I'm sorry you had to go through that alone," he murmured. He was completely sincere. "If I had known, I would have been there for you both every single second of every single day - no matter what your parents said or did. But I'm here now, and that's what I'm gonna do," he promised.

She wrapped her arms around him burying her head in his neck "I know...it was just hard...."

He kissed her softly. "Shh, honey. It's okay." he told her gently as he held her.

She nodded and sniffed a little straightening up as she heard Hope start to get up.

Chad squeezed her hand gently and looked back in the bedroom, smiling. "Morning, sleepy head," he called to his daughter gently.

"Morning daddy.", she said yawning as she stumbled out of bed.

He opened his arms to offer her up in on his lap. "C'mere, sweetie," he said gently.

"You sure?" she asked bringing her tinkerbell doll with her.

"Yeah. Just sit in my right side," he smiled softly, helping her up onto his lap and kissing her cheek. "How'd you sleep, sweetie?"

"Good." she said yawning.

He smiled and kissed her forehead. He wanted to spend as much time with her as he could until her grandparents had to take her.

Hey Hope, did you see that daddy made you breakfast this morning?" her mom asked her smiling a little.

Hope looked and smiled tiredly "Thank you daddy." she smiled laying her head up against him.

"Anything for my little lost girl," he smiled softly.

"Like the lost boys?" she asked looking up at him.

Jamie smiled softly and went back into her room.

"Yeah. Just like the lost boys," he smiled, stroking her hair. "I bet you could beat them at finding treasure anytime," he smiled.

Hope smiled and hoped off of him to go eat her breakfast.

He smiled and watched her quietly, sitting calmly in his wheelchair.
