He smiled and held her. "I've missed you," he murmured softly. "I'm so glad you came back."

"How could I not come back? I always had Hope, and hope that I'd see you again." she said smiling sadly. That was what she named her daughter for that exact reason. That she would be the Hope she'd have in ever being allowed to have contact with him again.

"Hope and hope that you'd see me again?," he asked, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "What kind of hope was the first one," he asked curiously.

"Hope is Hope, it's a beautiful wonderous thing." she said trying to cover her mess up. Jamie deffinately wasn't going to tell him this soon. She kissed him again wrapping her arms around him.

He chuckled and kissed her back. "It is," he agreed, holding her.

"Is that why you come back here?" she asked "Still after all these years, just to see if I'd be there waiting for you?" she asked nuzzling him affectionately remembering the promise she made him. That'd she'd come back for him and they'd meet at this very spot. The one spot they proved to each other that they loved each other with every fiber of their being. Even if it was dramatic for 13 yrear olds it was very romantic.

"Love and hope," he nodded, nuzzling her back with a soft smile. Crap, was it too soon to start saying "I love you"s? Did she still love him? Did they need to get to know each other again?

She smiled. I love yous would be ok with her, she's just sorta suprised that he wasn't with someone when she came back. She knew how he was 13....a girl friend every other week. She broke that trend, but after she left, he thought he'd eventually fall into that trend once again. She looked up at him and caressed his his cheek before running a hand through his hair, "...I never stopped loving you. Not completely......not at all...you gave me the most wonderful thing in the world."

Now he was the one with pink cheeks. He gave her the most wonderful thing? Really? He kissed her softly. "I don't deserve you," he murmured

She smiled gently and rested his head in her hands caressing his cheeks lightly, "No, no Chad. I wanted you then and I want you now." she murmured kissing him. "Otherwise I would've never come back. Don't go saying stuff like that..."

He kissed her lovingly. "But it's true. I'm a low-life who can't afford to go to college, even though I have two jobs. And you..." he smiled. "You are my total opposite. Everything a guy could ask for, and then some. How'd you ever fall for a guy like me, I'll never know."

'THings just didn't turn out the way they've been planned. Can't you afford to go to a community college, hun?" she asked gently. She blushed "I'm not EVERYTHING a guy could ask for...." she siad shyly.

He shook his head. "Nah. It's alright, though. I'm fine with what I have. If you think differently, though... I'll understand," he murmured.

"And yes, you are everything a guy could ask for. Sweet, smart, compassionate, cute," he caressed her cheek with a soft chuckle. "You know how to handle things, and you follow through with them."

"Chad, look how hard things are now for people. Everyone needs a college degree nowadays. I don't want you to at a disadvantage...." she said gently. "I want the best for you...."

He shrugged. "I'm doing perfectly fine where I'm at. I work hard, I'm constantly getting raises. I babysit my landlord's kid, and she takes the money out of my rent. So, I don't have to bother with that. I'm doing fine, don't worry about me," he insisted.

"Does the kid like you at least?" she asked hesitantly trying to figure out if he's good with kids or not.

He laughed. "She loves coming over to hang out with me. Sometimes, she'll beg her mom to leave work early so she can come over. She's cute; you'd like her," he chuckled. "Her name's Dana."

She smiled ear to ear, maybe he isn't gonna be so bad of a father for Hope... She kissed him again wrapping her arms around him.

He chuckled and kissed her back. "What's all the kisses for?" he asked curiously, wondering why she was so happy to hear about the girl he babysat.

"We have to make up for past 5 years that I couldn't kiss you." she whispered against his lips before kissing him again.

He chuckled softly and kissed her lovingly. "If you say so, angel," he murmured his nickname for her.

Jamie smiled and wrapped her arms around him. She never knew how much she missed his kisses untill now.

He smiled softly, happier than he'd been in ages, and held her close.

Jamie let out a soft moan and kissed him deeply, running a hand through his hair.

He kissed her back, caressing her cheek lovingly. He'd let her go as far as she wanted; he wouldn't push her.
