" You know you're slowing down for me" he teased laughing.

I know, she said.

He caugth up with her and smiled a wolfy grin.

She nudged him, nuzzling him, before heading to the Cullen's place.

Jake nuzzled her back affectionatly.

Alex woke up about an hour later and walked downstairs, yawning. "I'm so hungry," she grumbled, knowing she wouldn't be able to keep anything down.

" I'm hungry" Jake said whinning.



" Try some toast.." Bryan saidgently.

"Kay," she said and went to the kitchen, putting some bread in the toaster.

"You just had ham an hour ago," Leah chuckled, shaking her head.

" I can't help it. " Jake said laying down in the cullen's front yard seeing Nessie come outside.


Bryan sighed gently.

She chuckled and laid down with him, laying her head down and watching Nessie through the corner of her eye.

Nessie smiled, going to hug them both. "I beat Uncle Emmett at chess," she said happily. "Daddy said I'm too little to arm-wrestle him, though."

Alex buttered the toast when it came out of the toaster and nibbled on it slowly, not wanting to throw up again.

Jake chuckled, " Emmett isn't all there in the brain department"

"I'm gonna see how many times I can beat him," she giggled and ran off, dancing and twirling a bit before she actually reached the door.

He laughed, " She's cute"

"She is," Leah agreed, wondering what it'd be like to have her own kids one day.

Jake stretched out beside her and yawned closing his eyes. Of course he wasn't thinking of pups.

Leah curled up, her nose touching her tail.

" Whats on your mind" he yawned.

She pulled her ears back, embarrassed. "Pups," she murmured.

" Pups?" he tilted his head.

"Having pups..." she said, more embarrassed. She moved her tail so it was covering her eyes.

" W-Why?" he asked a little embrassed

"...Maternal instinct, I guess," she mumbled.

"You want to be a mom" he said gently.

She nodded, her face still hidden in her tail.

Jake wasn't sure why she wanted to have pups so soon.
