" N-Nothing!" Bryan stammered. " Don't hit!"

"'Nothing'!? You were just snuggling my favorite sweater! How did you get in here," she demanded. "And why?"

Kenta sat up, rubbing his eyes. "Alex, what's going on...?"

" Rain check" He poofed into a bat and flew.

"Wha-" she backed up from the closet, watching him fly around. She closed the window, closing him in and locked her bedroom door so her stepmom couldn't get in.

He squeeked loudly in protest.

"You change back and tell me what's going on," she demanded in a whisper, holding her brother's bat up again.

Kenta stared up at the flying bat, half asleep. "How did a bat get in here...?"

The bat squeeked. Kenta had to go back to sleep.

"I don't know, go back to sleep," Alex told him.

Kenta yawned and buried his head underneath his pillow. "Okay," he mumbled.

He poofed back. " Look.."

"I am looking," Alex said, lowering the bat a fraction of an inch. "Tell me how you got in here, what you're doing, and why you're doing it. I'm not finding this the least bit funny."

He sighed and laughed. " I thought you'd be more interested as to why I can be a bat. "

"That, too. Start explaining," she held up the bat again.

" Well.......I'm a vampire" he said.

Alex stared at him dumbly. "A... vampire... Right. And how do we prove that I'm not dreaming some really weird dream?"

"It could be a dream. " He shrugged. ' I wouldn't have to explain myself if so"

"It couldn't be, though. I never went to sleep."

" Then why doubt this is a dream" eh said.

"Because... well, you don't hear that every day." She sighed, looking up at him suspiciously. "So what are you doing in my room?"

" Because I like being in your room" he said.

"Uh-huh. Are you stalking me? Is that why you were blushing so bad earlier," she asked.

"No" He frowned. "...I like you"

She blinked, caught off-guard. "You... uhh... what?" Now she was blushing slightly.

" I have a crush on you" He said blushing

She blinked, thinking for a minute. "You couldn't have told me this at school like a normal guy? You had to come into my bedroom as a bat and snuggle my sweater?" She was halfway teasing him.

" Im not a normal boy" He pouted still hugging her sweater.
