Holly and I Only!!!

Niko and Damon arrived at the hideout and began planting bombs. There were plenty of fights along the way, and one of the bombs ended up coming loose and falling out of place. By the time they blew the bombs, Damon was already injured, and he got caught in the blast from the bomb that had gotten loose. Nikolai cursed and half-dragged him to the van before he floored it to the compound.

Fairly was still up, in the kitchen as she ate and did homework.

Niko stepped out of the elevator, still half-dragging Damon, and headed to the infirmary, laying his brother-in-arms down on the hospital bed and removing his weapons as carefully as he could without hurting him more. Damon's skin was charred black from the fire the bomb had caused. Niko was burnt, too, but not nearly as badly.

Hearing things going on, Fairly went to follow the noise. "Hey... What's going on?"

"Damon's hurt," Nikolai told her, dimming the lights so it didn't hurt their eyes so much. "He needs blood... Damnit," he cursed, his fangs fully extended in anger and frustration. Damon's were fully extended from thirst and anger.

When she saw him, Fairly gasped.

Groggily and rubbing her eyes, Baily came into the room. "What's going on?" she asked then saw Damon and gasped. "Oh my god..."

"Sweetie, maybe you should go back to bed...." Fairly started.

"no. I want to help. What can I do?" Baily asked.

Niko cursed. "Sorry, man," he murmured to Damon and looked at Baily. "Would you really care if he could sense where you are and know exactly what you're feeling? You have to be certain - it can't be undone."

She shook her head. "If I don't do it, will he be okay?" She asked.

"If he doesn't get blood soon, I can't promise him surviving," Nikolai said.

"And it has to be my blood?" She asked.

"Someone's blood. It doesn't matter. It has to be strait from a vein. Mine won't do any good," he said, impatient.

"Okay, then, use mine." She said, stepping forward, though not knowing what to do.

"Sit on that bed next to his. I'll-" he stopped midstep and looked at Fairly, remembering her ability. "Would you heal him? Can you?"

"I've never done anything this big.." she said, but took Damon's hand. "But.. I'll try." she said, closing her eyes and doing whatever she could, channeling some place in her mind, telling it to do whatever it did to heal him. Though, nothing happened.

Niko cursed and hurried to get a tube and an IV needle. He hooked the needle on one end of the tube and stuck it in Baily's arm, then put the other end in Damon's mouth and relaxed a bit as Damon started to drink the blood. "Thank you for trying," he murmured to Fairly, not taking his eyes off of Damon.

"Sorry it didn't do anything." She said softly, letting go of Damon's hand and stepping away.

Baily took the hand that Fairly had let go, looking at Damon a little scared.

After a minute or so, Niko took the IV out of Baily's arm and put a band-aid over where the IV had been, and removed the tube from Damon's mouth. His skin wasn't black anymore. He was slowly healing, though he hadn't regained consciousness.

"Is he going to be okay?" she asked.

"Yes. He'll live for sure," Niko nodded. "He'll be ready for action by sunset."

"And what about me? Are we... linked the way you said?" She asked.

Niko shook his head. "He can sense you and knows what you're feeling because he has your blood in his veins. You don't have his blood in your veins. The bond is only half-completed."

She nodded, still a little bit confused, but, didn't want to sound dumb.

Damon growled, the last thing he remembered being the explosion. He sat up, fangs extended, and froze, recognizing where he was as the infirmary.

Nikolai was asleep in a chair on the other side of the infirmary.
