" The palace remember?" he grinned

She nodded. "I remember," she said, smiling shyly. "Are we going to sneak into it? Or just look from the outside," she asked him curiously.

" We're vampires, we can do anything" he chcukled

She smiled and walked out of the hotel with him, towards the palace.

Cody stretched his arms out and yawned.

"Tired already? We only just left the hotel," she chuckled.

" I just get sleepy fast when I walk outside" he said

"Do you want my scarf," she asked, slipping it off of her neck and offering it to him. She thought the sun was wearing him out.

" Sure. The sun wears me out sometimes. I can't last long without feeling sleepy." he said

"Then we should buy you a hat or something while we're out," she handed him her scarf and fixed her hair to cover her neck.

" eh I guess" he shrugged. " I don't like hats because they mess up my hair but eh." he shrugged.

"They mess up my hair, too, but hair can be fixed," she chuckled. "Or would you rather carry a parsol around," she teased him.

" I'll have the hat"he shook his head. He had long hair but he'll put up with it. His mom always tried to cut it but he escaped it.

She took off her hat and offered it to him, fixing her hair with her fingers and pulling her hood up.

He put it on and sighed.

"We could go tonight, you know. We don't have to be out during the day."

" I know you wanna go out and have fun. I'll be fine" he said gently

"Are you sure," she asked, worrying.

" Of course" he said gently.

"Alright," she said, surrendering, making sure her gloves were secure on her hands.

Cody shoved his hands in his pockets looking shyly away from her.

She looked around curiously as they walked towards the old palace and gazed at it through the gates once they got there. "It must have been beautiful when it was being kept up with," she murmured softly.

" Yeah it was a palace" he said gently

She nodded. "Should we go in," she asked quietly, so no humans would hear.

" Sure" he said gently.
