A Werewolf's Heart Part 1.2

He did so, nuzzling her as he got comfortable and smiling up at her. "Good. Anything you wanna do today?"

She shrugged. "Not really... What about you?"

He yawned. "Just relax. One of those lazy days," he smiled.

She smiled and nodded. "Alright. Sounds good."

He smiled and sat up to kiss her softly.

"Let's go somewhere where we can be alone." she smiled.

Nick smiled. "Alright, love," he stood and took her hand, helping her stand as well.

She winked at Raini and walked with Nick. Once they were far enough away, she smiled up at Nick. "I think I have a surprise for you."

Raini smiled back happily, giving her a thumbs up and went back to eating cheerfully.

Nick noticed her smile and returned it. "What is it," he asked her curiously, cocking his head to one side.

"Try to guess." She smiled.

He thought a moment, gazing at her curiously. "Did something happen with Raini and Kendal," he guessed as a question, but shook his head, knowing she wouldn't take him to be alone somewhere if that were it. "Hmm... Any clues?"

"Well..... it happened a few days ago, by the river." she smiled, liking the clue game. He'd probably get it on this one though if he thought about it enough. They had made love a few days ago when they were alone like this.

"You want to do it again," he guessed in the form of a question. But furrowed his eyebrows; she wanted to tell him something. What would involve that besides... "Are you pregnant," he asked quietly, not entirely sure if the idea would upset her or not. But he swore that he'd never let her out of his sight again, that he'd always be right by her to protect her, love her, please her in every way possible.

She smiled nodding. "Wow... and he got it on the second guess." she teased.

He brightened immediately. "Really?" He smiled and hugged her happily, kissing her with nothing but love and pure bliss. "I love you so much," he smiled at her happily and kissed her with similar enthusiasm as before. "So, so much."

she chuckled and moved into his lap. "You happy?" she asked, though she already knew the answer.

He chuckled. "No, love. I'm estatic," he kissed her happily, holding her close.

She smiled, "I love you too and I'm glad you're so happy. Thsi time, I'm going to keep this one."

He nodded and held her close to him. "I won't let anything happen to you," he promised fervently. "I'll keep you and our baby safe at all costs."

She frowned. "Not at all costs... please. Don't die."

He kissed her lovingly. "To keep us all safe, then," he smiled softly at her, caressing her cheek.

She wrapped her arms around his waist and smiled, kissing him back.

He smiled and held her close. "I love you so much," he told her.

She smiled. "I love you too."

He smiled and stroked her cheek. "Do you need anything, love? Want anything?"
