Here We Go Again (Two Others, mkay? :D )

Well, certainly it seemed that Brittany knew when to call in Deryk. That's the worst that Justin knew about her! She would call him in once he was gone as if they had to sneak around. Yeah right! He sighed as he was walking home and putting in his earphones to listen to his I-pod. "What a great day..." he mumbled, rolling his eyes and continuing his walk. He just hoped not to run into the smug little ass.

Alora put on a little smile. It would be nice to see Deryk again, even if Justin really didn't like him. For some reason that she could never figure out. But seh always shrugged it off. She would prefer for Justin to have stayed and for her to hang out with him, but she could hang with other people too. She sat down and began reading the directions for the hair dyes.

When no one answered, Deryk frowned, walking in and closing the door behind him. "Brittany? Alora? What's wrong," he asked, walking through the house, looking for them. He found them bending over papers and boxes of hair dyes. "Hey, what's going on? Something happen with Justin," he asked, walking to them.

"Nothin happened with Justin, he just had to 'go get paint for his parents'... Yeah, okay. Whatever. And to discuss the 'who's dying their hair question, that'd be..." Brittany grinned, looking up. "That would be me!" She stuck her hands up in the air like she'd just done some ta-da trick. "I actually think it might turn out nicer than expected..." She liked Deryk, he was a good friend to Alora. She didn't mean to act like they had to sneak around to hang out with him, it was just that it always seemed that way because he was only around when Justin wasn't. She was pretty sorry that Justin and Deryk couldn't be friends. It upset her more than Alora truth be told.

"Huh, weird," he said, sighing about Justin. "Well, if you need any extra help with your hair, I guess I could give it a try. You wanna try a camo print," he asked, grinning, teasing.

"Yeah, but aren't we all weird? Yes, okay. Point proven..." Brittany laughed at the mention of camo. "Maybe next time, right now I'm avoidign the army as long as possible. I think I'm too wacky for them."

Alora laughed. "Not true! You could be a part of Sector 7!" she said with a grin. It was nice being able to be around them all without Justin being all uber-possessive like he usually was.

Britt smiled. "That's my dream job! Do I get to keep rainbow hair?"

He laughed, glad he'd cheered Alora up, or at least made her laugh. "I think if Brittany joined the army, she'd end up accidentally killing us all," he chuckled. "Brittany: the Rainbow Assassin," he laughed.

Britt grinned. "So obvious that you'd never see me comin!" She laughed, opening a box of green and another of blue. "So, Alora, are we goin Roy G Biv or just randomly putting the colors in?"

Alora thinks about it for a moment then smiles. "I think we should do it randomly. It seems more you..." She opened the box with red and the box with purple.

He laughed, opening the rest of the boxes and setting the colors out. "Alright, you want me to mix these now or wait until we're ready for them," he asked the girls, not knowing exactly how they wanted it done as he scanned over the directions.

Britt stood, grabbing some plastic bowls. "Let's get everything mixed..." She set the bowls on the table then walked back over to the table, wrapping a towel around her neck.

"Alright," he said and started mixing the hair dyes as the instructions said to do, wrinkling his nose. "How do you guys handle this stuff? It stinks so bad that it hurts," he said, putting one hand over his nose, pinching it closed and breathing from his mouth.

Britt smiled. "Because... The price of beauty is: A) Pain, B) Discomfort, C) Time. But in the end, it's always worth it..."

(So, we've lost Steph due to reasons that I know and understand but am definitely mostly not a fan. One I can handle but the rest is crap so yeah... Justin will become an issue...)

Deryk chuckled. "Alright, if you say so. I really don't see how it is worth it, but whatever," he shrugged. "Then again, it just might be one of those 'Brittany: the Rainbow Assassin' things," he grinned. "Am I supposed to do anything else," he asked, looking back at the mixed hair dyes.


Justin couldn't understand it as he walked into his house. Did he care for Alora? Yes, of course. Did he love her? Well, yes, but not in the same way. Their relationship had kind of leveled off recently. He didn't want to hurt her, but he wasn't as happy as he had been when they first started going out. He was just... what was the word... Bored.

Brittany grinned, shaking her head. "All I need are my sheets of aluminum. Where'd I put those foils..." she reached for her purse and pulled out a big pack, opening it on the table. "All you really need to do now is make sure the dye gets to the roos and then you're free for a while..."

Deryk blinked, seeing foils. "Uhh... I don't have the faintest idea how to use those," he told her. "I thought you'd just scrub it on your head where you wanted it... Guess not..."

Brittany shook her head with a smile. "Some dyes are like that, but these are the kind that are nearly permanent so you have to do em like a professional would..." She looked at all the different mixes. "Let's get to it then!"

Alora grinned, helping Britt with putting the dyes on her hair. She kinda knew what she was doing, but mostly went at it by what she believed she should be doing. After a quite a while, she stopped working, sitting down next to Britt. "Now you gotta wait half-an-hour before you rinse it out. I guess I'll leave you to wait then..."

Britt chuckled. "Alright." She pulled out her phone and sent a text to Justin. Hey, wats ^?

Deryk helped Alora, trying to mimic what she was doing on different sides of her head. "Alright, if this comes out different from what you wanted it, you can't blame me. I did warn you that I didn't know what I was doing," he told Brittany.

Hearing his phone ring his message tone, he looked at it and flipped it open. He chuckled, shaking his head. He punched in his reply: Nutin. U colr ur har yet?

Alora laughed. "She wants it different, that's why we're coloring aaaaaall her hair..."

Britt smiled. Yeah, I'm waitin for it to finish settin in. I look like I have a frayed robot head on right now...

Deryk chuckled. "Yeah, I guess you're right." He thought for a minute. "You guys want some ice cream or something? I can go out and get some; it won't take very long," he offered. "You can eat while you're waiting," he pointed out to Brittany.

A frayed robot, huh? Weird. Take a pic. He chuckled to himself; he knew he'd laugh if he was there.

Brittany's eyes went wide in mock-shock. "Ice cream... I like ice cream.. Especially the cookies-and-cream kind... Oh that kind is delicious..." She then held her phone out, while still managing to do the robot pose, and took a picture. She sent it to Justin with a grin. Here ya go...

Alora nodded. "Ice cream does really sound good. That'd be great if you bout some... We'd love it obviously."

Deryk chuckled. "Alright, I'll go get some. Cookies and cream, and what kind do you want," he asked Alora, smiling at her.

Justin laughed and texted back:
Lmfao what robot threw up on you?

Alora smiled. "Strawberry... Always the best..."

Brittany grinned. Bender actually. See, he and I went out drinkin last night, he got hammered and well here we are... lols

Deryk smiled. "Just makin' sure. I'll be back in a few," he promised and went out to his car, driving to the ice cream shop. He ordered three cones: one strawberry, one cookies and cream, and one butterfingers. He got back to Alora's house quickly and walked inside, handing them their cones. "Here you go," he smiled.

Justin chuckled. 'lmfao Very nice'
