Remembering the Past [moonangel]

"I'm scared for them, too," he stroked her hair, holding her close. "But we need to have faith. Otherwise, they might not be able to do it. They need support, just as much as anyone."

She nodded and let out a small sigh. "I'll try. We'll have to stick around for quite a while, with them eventually having to rule and such.."

Baren smiled and nodded. "We can do that. We get to see each other in the process, too," he chuckled.

She sighed, mainly because she knew Sanura would be waking up real soon. "Yes, it'll be nice..." She gave him a kiss and then shimmered out as Sanura woke with a start. Her alarm had gone off. Sanura glanced around her room for a moment, and then concentrated to see how much of her dream she had remembered.

[Gabe figured out how to do it! I figured out how to, now, too! XD]

Baren kissed her, back, and sighed as she had suddenly disappeared.

Alec woke up a bit later, yawning and stretching to slam his hand tiredly on the snooze button, muttering incoherent curses at it for waking him up.

She turned off her alarm, mainly because it irritated her. "Okay now, what happened in that dream.... I know I saw Alec again.... But, he was a tad different.. and we spoke about the mafia. And something about us ruling? No, that couldn't be right.."

Alec groaned, sitting up and rubbing his face. "So... What?" He tried his hardest to remember the dream. But, as usual, all he could remember was them meeting and their departure.

Sanura shrugged and got up to get ready for school. she hated school on account of the uniforms and all the 'order' there. She'd suffer through it well enough nonetheless. She brushed out her hair, got dressed, fixed her makeup, and headed out of her house.

Alec sighed and got ready for school and packed up an extra bag for work. He walked out the door and locked it behind him, walking to school, trying to remember his dream.

Sanura got to school with few problems and managed to survive the droning of the teacher, though she hadn't fallen asleep in any of them. Extra sleep, sadly it seemed. Instead she was full of energy and found it hard to hold back from anything.

Alec took his notes and slept through study hall. After school, he headed to work and changed into his work uniform. He only worked half of his usual potential, but he got a lot of tips still.

Sanura did the usual at her job, not putting much thought into it since she did it about every day anyways. Her lunch break was kind of blah and seemed too short. She was glad when work ended and she could make her trip to the subway.

[sorry it's taking so long. i'm trying to find last minute concert tickets for my boyfriend. i'm so fucking pissed off ><]

Alec finished with his shift and started home, his bag swung over his shoulder.

Sanura reached the subway easily, considering she took it everyday, and sat on a bench to wait for her train to come.

Alec waited at the spot he'd met her yesterday patiently, looking over some of his notes from class so he didn't look suspicious to the mafia.

Sanura spotted Alec and grinned. She stood and walked over to him. "Hey Alec" she said when she reached him. "Whatchya lookin at?"

Alec heard her and looked up, smiling. "Hey. Just some notes I took during class. I wasn't paying very well attention," he admitted and put his notes away. "Shall we go to your house?"

"Sounds good. We can talk when we get there" she agreed, and began to lead the way to her house. She felt hesitant to talk about this in public.

Alec nodded and followed her, walking alongside her. He kicked a couple of pebbles as he walked, making it look nonchalant.

They reached her house easily enough and she slipped in, pulling him after her, and closed the door. "Good. So, how did things go?"

Alec sighed and shook his head. "I couldn't remember any more than the beginning and end."

Sanura shrugged. "I heard something about the mafia, but not sure what else." She had decided not to tell him about the ruling part, since she wasn't sure if that was right or not. She could have just added it in in her mind or something.

"The mafia...? Hm..." he thought hard, seeing if he remembered anything. He sighed, shaking his head. "Still nothing..."

Sanura sighed and shrugged. "I'm sure it'll eventually work, the idea. Till then, we'll just figure something out as we go along.

Alec nodded. "Yeah..." he sighed. "Any ideas?"
