A Werewolf's Heart Part 1.1

"Me either." She smiled. But right now, she just wanted to find a nice softy peice of grass and let him hold her with his strong arms.

He smiled and nuzzled her, dropping the bear on the ground. 'Do you want to eat now or later?'

"I want the bear cooked." She said, sitting down. "I found some rosemary and would like to see what it tastes like on the bear." She said, smiling.

He shifted into his human form and smiled. "Oh, it's good," he smiled. "I think you'll like it." He got a pocket knife and cut some strips of meat off of it and started a fire. Putting the strips of meat on a long stick, he put some rosemary on it for her and held it over the coals of the fire.

"I didn't mean now." She said but sat at the fire, welcoming it's warmth. It was getting colder outside.

"But it's better fresh," he smiled at her. "you'll like it - it's much better than deer meat, I promise."

Ilane smiled, moving to sit in between his thighs, her hands rested on his knees. "It sure does smell goo."

He smiled and held her close, still holding the meat over the hot coals. He rested his chin on her shoulder.

She smiled, reaching up to run her fingers though his hair.

He smiled and kissed her cheek. "I love you," he whispered in her ear. "Are you cold," he asked as a chilly wind blew past.

She nodded. "A little bit." she said.

Nick held her closer. "How about now? Still need a blanket," he asked, not wanting her to be cold.

She nodded and shivered as another breeze went through. "I think I do need a blanket."

He nodded. "Hold this. I'll be right back," he kissed her cheek and ran off to get a big blanket. He came back with one and took his seat back, wrapping the blanket around them both. "How's that," he asked, taking the stick back and turning it over to cook the other side.

she smiled, holding the edge of the blanket for them. "Much better." She said, leaning against him.

He smiled and laid his chin on her shoulder again, holding her close. "This is nice," he murmured, leaning his head against hers.

Shhe smiled, nodding. "And the fact that I could b pregnant, makes it better." she agreed.

((I took a pain pill a little while ago, so, I'm shakey and groggy... my typeing and spelling is going to be bad, but I promise that I'll make sure the posts make sense.))

[Don't push yourself too hard! You needs to rest!]

He nodded and nuzzled her. "Yes, it does," he agreed happily.

((But I'm not tired enough to sleep... I'm just shaky and grogy, that's all))

She smiled, keeping the blanket close around them. "I hope I am pregnant." she said.

He smiled. "I hope you are, too," he smiled and rubbed her belly softly, nuzzling her lovingly.

"What's a wolf pregnancy like? Do I have like, twins or something in like, 3 months? Or do I have like a normal 9 month pregnancy?" She asked.

He shook his head. "No, our kind has a gestation period of about four months. The number of children you have depends on genetics. To my knowledge, I am not a twin," he told her.

((What if he is a twin!!! And there's another pack out there))

She nodded. "A four month pregnancy? Isn't that a little fast? Does the baby have enough time to develop?"

[Yeah! XD]

Nick shook his head, taking the meat away from the fire to let it cool down. "Think about it: most animals grow faster than humans. So do werewolves. We just need one more month's development than wolves, because of our human half."

((And Nick has a twin sister. XD))

She shrugged. "It would make more sense and make me feel better if it was like, 5 months..." she mumbled.
