She sighed. "do you think you over reacted at Ed?" she asked.

[Yeah. We should be getting money from the insurance company soon. We're using that money to take my wisdom teeth out and fix my dad's bridge.]

Nick shook his head. "I don't think so, personally. One of the worst crimes you can do is steal someone's mate, or kill them."

((Well, that's good))

"But he's your brother," she said.

"That's what's even worse," Nick muttered. "Ed knew exactly how I feel about you, and he still did it. He betrayed me by trying to take you."

"But you should know that I would never betray you." She said, stopping so he would look at her. "I love you. Only you, I will never hurt you."

Nick kissed her softly. "I know you wouldn't, love," he murmured. "I love you, too."

She smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him sweetly. "Did you make a good catch on the deer?"

He kissed her back sweetly, wrapping his arms around her waist. "I got the biggest I could find. I had to go out further than I wanted to."

"Is it enough to feed the pack?" she asked.

"Yes, but I'll have to go out hunting again. We'll have to start hunting smaller deer."

"Is that good or bad? If we hunt smaller ones then we'd have to hunt more... What if the deer runs out?"

"We don't only hunt from one herd," he told her. "We hunt from several surrounding herds. If one's population is low, we don't hunt from that herd for a while," he explained.

she nodded. "Is there other things we can eat? Like, mountain lions or something?" She asked.

"Yeah. We can eat pretty much anything. Deer is the easiest to catch, and easiest on the young ones' stomachs," he said.

She nodded. "I guess that makes sense. Can you and I try catching something other than a deer?"

"Sure. What do you want to try," he asked, still holding her hand.

She shrugged. "Something that'll get me practicing" She smiled. "But wait... I could be pregnant, do you think I should?"

He shook his head. "It's not a good idea. You can come watch, but you'll have to stay in human form. If we are going to have a little one," he smiled at the thought, "I don't want anything to happen to it."

She sighed, nodding. She put a hand on her belly and shrugged. "But, I feel as if I'll be missing out on a chance that could be amazing if I'm not pregnant."

He smiled and caressed her cheek. "Love, I promise you can go hunting with me after our baby is born, if you are pregnant," he told her. "We can go hunting for whatever you want."

She nodded. "Alright." she said, rubbing her belly. "But... I don't even know if I am pregnant... I haven't been throwing up or not sleeping or anything that would give me signs I'm pregnant."

He bent down and kissed her belly, then stood back up to kiss her softly. "We'll give it one more week to be safe. If you have no pregnancy signs by then, then I promise I'll take you out hunting," he smiled, elated with either scenario.

She smiled as he kissed her belly then wrapped her arms around his neck. "That means we can't have any more sex until next wednesday." she said, smiling. "Will you be able to handle that?"

Nick sighed and nodded. "I think I can. If you don't tempt me," he said with a soft chuckle.

"I'll be good, I promise." she said, smiling.
