She nodded and opened her mind to him and to the vision, letting it play in her head again, this time though trying to play it slower.

He played through the vision in her mind. He was able to read his cousin's mind in the vision. She was afraid, and the baby was even more terrified, thrashing around in her, causing her pain and to bleed heavily. He jumped up. "You can stop now, love. I know what will happen." He kissed her. "There is a way to stop her death. I will stop it," he promised.

"Are you sure?" she asked, lifting her head and looking up at him. She looked tired and worn.

"Olivia was afraid. Her baby has the same ability as she does - sensing emotions. Since its mother was scared, it was terrified and thrashing around, causing her bleeding. I just have to keep her calm and both mother and baby will be just fine," he explained to her. He kissed her softly and lovingly. "Rest, sweetheart. I love you."

She nodded, laying down. Instantly Jedi laid down next to her. "I hope you're right." she said to Ryder softly.

"I'm almost 100% certain of it, love," he kissed her forehead. "I'm going to go find them and tell them. Keep watch, boy," he patted Jedi's head and went out after slipping on his shoes. "I'll be back soon."

"They went out." Lilli said as he was putting on his shoes. "I heard Olivia say she wanted to go out to dinner or something. Stay here." she said, sitting up slightly. "Stay with me."

He slipped off his shoes and crawled into bed next to her, wrapping his arms around her.

She turned over, nuzzling her face into his shoulder. "Do you think that these visions will go away? I don't like them..."

"I think that's your ability, love," he told her gently. "You may be able to control them better with the more blood you take from me, but I don't think they'll go away."

She sighed. "I don't like them." she said again.

"You'll be able to control them soon, sweetheart," he kissed her. "Once you're able to, you might like them more. They are apart of you. They can be very useful, as well."

"Yeah..." she sighed.

He held her, stroking her hair gently with his chin on her head tenderly. He enjoyed having her in his arms, relaxing with her.

she sighed, holding onto him. "I love you,"

"I love you, too, Lilli," he murmured softly, kissing the top of her head.

"So... that dream I had with you and me where you were kissing my body. Do you think that was a dream or a vision?"

"I think it was a vision," he smiled gently. "I hope it was a vision. I would like to have a child with you."

She nodded. "I don't know if I do."

"I'm sorry," he apologized. "Us vampires are more paternal than we seem at first. We really only want mates and babies. It's just timing for when it's safe enough to have a child."

"I feel like things aren't very safe right now though." she said softly.

"They aren't," he murmured regretfully. "I will protect you, though," he promised, lifting her hand in his and kissing her hand tenderly. "I will always protect you."

She nodded, smiling at him and kissing his lips. "Thank you."

He smiled softly and kissed her back, holding her close to him, letting his feelings known to her. He felt protective of her, loved her, and wanted nothing more than to bury himself in her.

As she felt his feelings she couldn't help but let him hold onto her tighter. She loved him and loved how he was so ready to protect her.
