She let him do what he wanted, knowing this meant a lot to him. She half felt that he was looking at her like that to memorize her face if something did happen while having the baby.

He told himself he would enjoy these few months with her. The knowledge that she might be gone after the baby is born broke his heart more than he could ever explain or show, but he didn't want to be upset with her, he wanted to see her smiling. He wanted her to be happy.

She could feel his deep sadness and sighed. "My mom will find a way for me and the baby to live." She said softly.

He kissed her hand again, squeezing it gently before he let her hand go so the waitress could set their food down. He ate slowly, not really in the mood to eat anymore.

Olivia didn't eat either, but did ask for a doggy bag to put her food in. She knew she'd want it later.

Once he was done and the food was paid for, they left and walked together slowly. He refused to let go of her hand.
