Serena knew that it was pathetic of her to be resorting to this- a one night stand with a stranger. Despite knowing this there was still a happiness inside her, that for one night she could be with someone who didn't get through school on sports and who had seen her without her make up and hadn't cared. A soft blush remained on her cheeks and she wrapped her arms around him. She let their tongues wrestle as she leaned a bit into him, starting to feel weak in the knees. Eventually they found themselves in her bedroom. Despite being a bit of a clean freak she found herself quickly tossing aside the throw pillows on her bed to make room for him.

It felt good to be held close like this by another person. Looking down at him she smiled softly before kissing him once more on the lips. She moved slowly down his jaw line and then to his neck, kissing him and nipping at him playfully. As she moved down his neck, she paused and rested her ear to his chest, listening to the sound of his heart beating in his chest and then briefly wondered if he could tell her hard her heart was beating.

She looked up at him as he reached down and then pulled her shirt over her head. Breathing in, she looked into his eyes thoughtfully. Two weels before she had seen a matching bra and panty set at the Victoria's Secret that she knew her boyfriend would have gone crazy over. It seemed interesting now that she was wearing it infront of a stranger, not to mention with a coffee stain on it.

She gasped a bit when she felt his weight leave her and turned around on to her back. Serena sighed softly and watched as he got dressed, pulling on his pants first and then his shirt. "Thank you." she mumbled, looking over at his face thoughtfully, mostly since this was the first she had seen of it in a good hour. She pulled her comforter over her, covering her nakedness, knowing that he was going to leave now and he didn't need or want to see her anymore.

He sighed. Maybe he was to 'streight to the point' or 'buisness like'. He went to her and kissed her cheek

"Thanks for a nice evening" he said politley and soon got off the bed and walked out of her room

She looked at him as he came over to her bedside and leaned in, kissing her cheek. She found herself smiling despite trying to stop herself. "You're welcome." she whispered, looking up at him with her soft brown eyes. When he left her room she sighed to herself and waited for him to leave before she got up to lock the door. She then walked into the bathroom where she let the sheet fall infront of her full length mirror. She did indeed have some bruises on her hips as well as a few love bites, one on her neck and one just below one of her breasts. Sighing softly, she then stepped into the shower and in a way washed away the night and it's memories.

The next morning he awoke with a jolt as his alarm clock rang. He had practiced the entire night, and fell asleep with his head in the keys of the piano. He took his glasses off and rubbed the bridge of his nose, and repositioned them, and continued to practice. He lived alone in a simple but homely apartment which he supported by working at a bookstore.

The next morning Serena felt pretty crumby despite the great sex that she'd had the night before. She looked into the mirror as she got ready for school and she noticed an emptiness in her eyes. Sighing softly she reached for her contacts and put them in, blinking before her eyes became green. Brushing some of the hair from her eyes, she brushed back her hair and left it loose before putting on her make up and jewelery.

Three hours later he showed up for work and began to organise the books.

Serena was surprised when she arrived at school and one of her friends told her that it was going to be a half day due to an inservice staff meeting discussing the upcoming interum report cards. While her friend was telling her this she noticed people looking at her and she could hear whispering and knew that it was about her. She glared at several people and looked away from them.

He came home later and sighed, going to the piano to resume his practice

By the time that school was over Serena had already heard several different takes on what had happened between her and her ex, even one that claimed she had actually cheated on him. When she walked out of the school building she was quick to get to her car, where she found herself fighting the urge to cry. What a crappy day!

Dan was currently leaving his teacher's house. Turned out that there was a recital in 3 weeks, and his teacher offered him a chance to play in it. Dan accepted and walked towards his house

Three weeks later Serena found herself in the girls bathroom with a pregnancy test in her hands. She had already felt dirty going to the school nurse and felt even worse as she looked down at the results. "N-no way..." she stuttered, starting down at the pink plus sign. Shaking her head, she wrapped the test in toilet paper before putting it in her purse, knowing better than to just throw it away in the girl's bathroom. "The school buys cheap-o tests. I'll buy a real one after school..."

After practicing he crashed on his bed, falling asleep

A few hours later as well as several pregnany tests later Serena was huddled on her bed, crying her eyes out. "This has to be a mistake..." she whimpered. What was she going to do? She wasn't even sure if she could get a hold of Dan! Fighting back several tears she decided to go on the computer and see if perhaps he was on FaceBook.

Serena wanted to believe that all of the pregnany tests were wrong, but she had boughten the expensive ones that were supposed to always be right. She sniffled and wiped at some tears as she booted up her computer. It would be one thing to tell her parents she was pregnant, but to do it without the baby daddy would be even worse.
